Farage still hasn't figured out that the enemy of his enemy is his enemy's enemy and nothing more. The odds are that any trade deal the US offers us will be how we have to import chlorinated chicken, beef with more steroids in it than the average professional bodybuilder, and "Cornish" pasties containing mutton that were fermented in rural Wyoming - and in return we can give the US our submissive gratitude for saving us from a horrific future of chlorine-free chicken, edible beef that tastes of something other than shoe leather, and Cornish pasties that are fit for canine consumption. Because his publicly-funded enablers at the BBC keep telling him he's important. Because nothing underlines his credentials of being anti-establishment like the BBC giving him as much airtime as he wants...
Farage doesn't give a crap about the UK. He's already said that if Brexit goes wrong then he'll **** off. He works for some dubious businessmen and Putin.
Political expedience is a wonderful thing.... May has to be seen to punish Russia for their non-response, so expels 23 Russian diplomats who are undisclosed Intelligence Officers. Previously quite happy to retain these spies in the UK - in fact may even have been involved in the planning of such attacks - the Government now makes a show of showing these individuals the red card. (‘Where’s that list, Rupert?’) This very question just asked on lunchtime news and Tory minister Alan Duncan getting his knickers in a right old twist trying to explain it away. Claiming that this is the worst incident on european soil since 1945. Really???
Funny how, as soon as Jayda Fransen and Paul Golding were jailed, it suddenly dawned on Facebook that Britain First's page was a hotbed that incited hate speech, violence and even domestic terrorism among its supporters (otherwise known as violating their ToS) and maybe they should consider closing it down. Naturally their zealots and other bots are trotting out the usual "free speech" bollocks that, as per usual, neglects to understand that free speech isn't a one-way street.
May and everyone on this planet know Putin and company are up to mischief everywhere.....except Trump and the Republican Party who claim Russia are free from guilt! Beam us up,Scottie!!!!
So we won't be sending Prince William to the World Cup this summer. That'll show Putin! Also, while the Dire Leader is trying to act as if sending the 23 Russian diplomats who hadn't contributed to the retirement funds of her various ministers and MPs which she described as spies is a victory, has anyone explained to her that if she knows they're spies then they aren't the people she needs to be worried about - because as any undercover police officer will tell you it's never the bobbie on the beat that brings down criminal gangs.
I thought he was saying that Tory cuts in the state (diplomatic) sector was the reason nerve agent toxin incidents like this are occurring.
His comments weren't that bad, but those of his spokesman were very poor. Bringing up Iraq was just incredibly poorly thought out and it's the exact rhetoric that Russia is using.
Interestingly, on other side of the channel, Emmanuel Macron has echoed Corbyn's sentiments about requiring definitive evidence before publicly condemning Russia for the Salisbury attack - which will pee off the Blairites in the midst of their annual faux outrage no end, considering they keep holding up Macron as an example of the sort of Centrist leader they so desperately want. Similarly there's a French diplomat echoing what Corbyn said about the Tories being only too willing to allow Russian dark money to slosh around in the City (and their bank accounts) because they were more than happy to put their bank balance before the interests of national or public safety, which has obviously come back to bite them. Meanwhile, of course, the Tory bots continue to bang on about how Corbyn didn't condemn the Salisbury attack, basing this belief on...the Sun, Daily Mail, Sky and BBC not showing the footage of Corbyn quite clearly condemning the attack during PMQs while also ignoring what he said being posted to his social media accounts afterwards.
Of course he condemned the attack, but his own spokesman completely ****ed him. If he'd have just stuck to his Facebook post, then he'd have been fine:
What, Iraq have the capability to make this nerve agent toxin ?? Sounds to me like grounds to invade them.
Did those Russians not tip for their meal at Zizzi ?? Bit harsh of the town to poison them over that.
