It’s interesting reading people’s opinions now. It would seem that to some, being right is more important and they therefore won’t take the steps to admitting they were wrong about Henriksen. I honestly don’t know why people are so weird about saying “fair enough, I got it wrong” on the Internet.
As lovely a soundbyte as that is, it doesn't make any sense. Unless someone said he'd never be good, they weren't wrong and have nothing to admit.
I'll admit I got it wrong. I thought he was going to be amazing based on his stats in the Dutch league and his goal against Stoke in the cup. I'll also admit that I got it wrong on Grosicki. I wonder whether Leon Bailey would have flourished here?
. Players can wax and wain, Henriksen has looked dire at times, with the odd flashes of... well, he has run once or twice, kicked the ball and even tackled a player for the other team. He needed to just do more than turn up now and again. It all just looks as if he isn't bothered, which I am sure that isn't the case, but it really seems like it.
Alright, I was wrong. There is nothing to suggest Hendrickson has any talent or could be a decent player. He does hide behind enemy players, shy away from challenges and actively avoids being anywhere near the ball. Happy now?
Good result, well done Hull Tigers Hopefully a win at the weekend and a Wolves defeat of Burton, and then we'll have one foot over the safety line
My thought isn’t so much that they were wrong, but more they were wrong to judge so quickly. He might end-up being ****e, the point for me is any player needs 20 games, fully fit and in their best position, to prove what they can do. I’d be surprised if the fella has had 5 games in this criteria.
Your right, also there are many of us got it wrong about Snitch and Snatch, thinking they were our long term saviours but not that many have actually admitted it on here.
No-one playing for us in a City shirt should ever be booed. ****s trick. I did give Damien Delaney some **** once but I think it brought out his character tbh.
That’s one of the most shameful boo-boy targetings we’ve ever had. And Matt Wicks thoroughly deserved it.
