    Good Morning Everyone

I read an interesting article this morning suggesting Rad had made a rod for his own back by allowing the fans to dream about what could be....

    Agree or disagree?

Staying on the Rad theme, it has been suggested by our supremo that the players have not been pulling their weight!!! <yikes>

He told talkSPORT ”To be fair in the first year with mainly new players, 15 new players and a new coach, a new owner, to be in the top six most of the season until the mid-half of the season was a good result. I was pleased with that. Unfortunately in January we ruined everything.”

"I have my own personal opinion that I'm happy to share. I think the crucial time, the crucial moment was the week from 23rd December to 1st of January because in that week we had four games and we play all the games with the same 11 or 12 players and this basically killed the players on the pitch and also killed the other ones because they were not considered.”

"And then in the next game, in the cup, Newport we went to play with full 11 players, asking the same players that were totally ignored for the four games in the league to play in the cup against second division side. Obviously the commitment was not there because they were not considered before.”

    Agree?

I have a feeling PH will get the best result and performance because the players now know how upset the owner, the Board and the fans are. I think Radz has nailed it with yesterdays comments. If that doesnt work then we are really screwed because any self respecting player will want to prove him wrong, even if angered by his comments

Morning all... Rads comments a hard one to call as players should bust a gut when given a chance. My guess... Orta in conversation to Rads expressed his bewilderment in certain players not being given a chance, Rads is now taking them on as his own concerns and it drops a big hint to PH to rotate a few.

It could be why we are seeing some chopping and changing, maybe at his (PH) interview he was told this same story of where we went wrong, that the board considers we have enough for a squad rotation?

Now... looking at our result during this period

Beat Hull Roofe started ahead of Lasogga, O’Kane replaced Phillips at half time

Beat Burton Cibicki,Vieira and Roofe started

Lost to Birmingham Cibicki started ahead of Saiz, Klich came on for Phillips

Drew with Forest Lasogga came on for Alioski at half time

I’m not sure how Rads can back these comments up, we struggle to put out 4 defenders as it is and this period was prior to De Bock so rotating those would be suicide. Ekuban was injured, it left Lasogga, Roofe and Grot we know and knew Grot wasn’t ready and Roofe and Lasogga were rotated.

It just leaves the midfield, from what I can see we used Cibicki, Hernandez, Phillips, Vieira, Alioski, Klich, O’Kane, Saiz, Sacko with Dallas injured it looks like rotation was used to me?

Lots of players there Ristac who were just thrown in willy nilly, some thrown into positions never played before. Almost like Tommy making a statement by saying “there you go told you they were shyte’. Just amazes me though that besides Sacko and Klich all those players were brought in with him being involved

Morning Doc, so do we, the fans assume that the players have not been making much effort until now?

Morning all. Ill add to Rads comment. Hes complaining the second 11 against Newport showed no commitment because they werent getting a run in first team normally. Long before that myself and a few others expressed our views regularly that our subs bench was poor to rubbish most days, full of Sackho, Lonergan, the scum loanee etc. We took some stick for saying that sometimes, fair enough. Little did we realise that many of the first eleven were no better. Rad needs to be careful about dissing his players at this particular time. He will find it hard enough to move them on in the summer anyway but even harder if the club owner publicly announces they have attitude or commitment problems as well as being poor. Not only has he never previously been involved in buying players at a football club, he now faces the problem of how to shift them long contracts and all.

Morning rustic, some players have certainly been mismanaged, none more so then Klich. The guy was not given a chance. You also have to feel sorry for Grot who was thrown in at the deep end though obviously not ready.

Good Morning to Matt and co from a bright Bardsey
I totally agree with AR he has given these players 4 year contracts the least he can expect is 100% effort instead they have strolled about
Its all very well saying I will get rid but who would want them I can't think of any club in our league that would take them apart from Sunderland because if they wanted Lonners they are desperate
On the subject of the world cup I for one would advise the government to step in and withdraw the team along with Germany and others .He got it by bribebary and we cannot guarantee the safety of the supporters
Its about time we hurt him where it hurts loss of revenue and loss of face which will hurt him most

Morning Eire. What I don't understand is why now has Rad suddenly come out with this statement. I wonder how long he has felt like this. We do know that Rad wanted to get rid of TC in January but Orta begged him not to.

I wonder if the reason for this is that Orta Knew the buck would stop with him?

Good morning mike. I must admit I was pretty puzzled when the club gave Stuart Dallas a three year extension to his contract, especially as he was not even playing games around this time.

But PH is doing the exact same, Anita LB Dallas RB Dallas right or left midfield, Hernandez wide left, it’s down to lack of quality, the first 11 virtually picks itself apart from one or two. I see what you’re saying and kind of agree but we seem worse under PH

    Good morning all

Seems like Radz is passing on the blame to cover his back for his own inadequacies

Truth is much of our squad are not good enough for a promotion push

Agreed and have said i have concerns about PH in other threads. Cant get what he sees in Anita as a full back or Sacko as anything other than a bad Aidy White.

Morning from a laybye near keighley.my take on things is most of the squad are shyte.
As for rads he is not passing the buck cos he owns the club.as for publicly slagging off the players good for him.
Five players neededfor the starting eleven and lets hope some of the u23s come good.
