    Scholes sticking the boot in...

This is a lesson for everyone, there are no favourites in cup knock out competition.

I think he actually flirted with the LFC job in 2003/4 before the last minute lucky goal v utd propelled him into abramovich's view.

Denying him what he saw as his god given right to walk to CL vitcory hurt him so deeply he's imploded several times. One of my personal favorites was when he lost it as anfield sung bye bye mourinho at him. He got up at one point to shout at his **** team and sat down so fast i thought he collapsed. I had a seat close to the away end and those chelsea fans were quiet that day.

IMO the set up last night was awful, the intensity was completely lacking. Sanchez has disrupted their team flow, probably his wage ruffled several egos.

I can't understand a side with the players they do not being able to bully a side like seville off the park.

It must be attitude and confidence

so agent mourinho has admitted his plan to ruin utd. its a long standing plan to put utd out of CL at every opportunity and he gloated about causing utd's exit this year as well.

Well done agent moruinho your Russian overlord will be proud.

After years of trying to beat Barca at the Nou Campe in the CL only one English club has managed to do it.

    Guess which club?

It's the way they're set up to play. José plays with a safety-first mentality, as opposed to our cavalier attitude. He wants to start solidly then build to a win where possible.
Either method can fail sometimes. When we fail we point the finger at the defence, when they do the blame falls on their inability to create enough chances. They have a wealth of attacking talent but don't play in a way that utilises them well enough.
Towards the end of the first half they'd had (I think it said) 4 shots to Sevilla's 9. By the end it had improved a bit to 17 to 21. Still only 3 to 6 on target. That's pretty dreadful for a team of their stature, at home, in the 2nd leg of a CL game that they have to win.

They're 2nd in the league to a runaway City side, so it's not as if they're a disaster, but with the players they have they should be doing a lot better, imo.
I'm not being bitter or spiteful when I say I really don't like the way José plays the game and I've felt that way long before he went to Utd. He doesn't set out to play football, more to prevent the opposition from doing so, and that just goes against the grain for me.

yes they started ok. looked like it was only a matter of time before they socred then within 10mins the corwd was edgy and utd were retreating back into a deep defense every time seville got it. They had lingard, rashord and sanchez all on the pithc... surely to push seville around and run at them.

Its bizarre. add in the minute fellinai is fit he's back in as well? amazing.

I just think they should have won handy and looking at what seville were about they should have won even with a negative mindset. Ad most english sides been in that position against that side they'd be 2 up after 25mins and then sit off.

Fantastic opportunity. experience, exposure, higher level than u18s or u23 local.

push towards preseason next season. Theres 3 lads i'm looking at to do this in the team.

Yeah, our fewish years in the CL(compared to Arsenal, Chelsea and Them)has seen us get a record victory in the group stage(v Besiktas), be the only English club to beat a Messi/Barca team away in the CL, seen us break the record for most goals scored in the group stage of the CL, reach 2 finals winning one.
The above mentioned English clubs have entered the competition many more times than us but our record speaks volumes about our European pedigree.<whistle>

He has no respect for the club's he manages, saying it's no big deal that Utd got knocked out of the CL is one thing but his showing of disrespect at the club's Munich memorial service was crass, all other club employees and representatives wore a shirt and tie, but not Mourinho, he wore a hoody under his blazer, the "little man" is an utter twat!
