I see the squad are off to southern Spain for some warm weather training and team bonding. That brings back plenty of fond memories
La Manga twice, once when Collymore set off the fire extinguisher and the second time when Matt Elliott, Keith Gillespie and another I can't remember were accused of sexual assault. They were hung out to dry by the media and when it was proven that the allegations were baseless any apologies weren't very forthcoming.
Paul Dickov, Frank Sinclair and Keith Gillespie was the ones who got charged but all charges was later dropped
And when we won the league wasn’t the furthest they went a secluded Austrian mountain area and Burton-On-Trent! Maybe the club should look at this and stay close to home!
Is it possible to ever go on these warm weather training camps and appreciate the generousity of the club for taking them without raping women/stealing cars/taking cocaine
What else is there to do on holiday? Not sure where they find the time when they are supposed to be there training.
I've been on holiday for 12 days now and haven't trained, stole a car or taken any drugs...I'm definitely going wrong somewhere
Its because what you do on holiday is what footballers do every day with their vast wealth. They have to step up and find a new level when they go on holiday, which usually boarders on, or is, illegal.
All of the incidents have occurred when they've been on official club trips though, they should be training or busy doing official stuff.... It does appear they managed that this time.
