Love Astons. But wouldn’t say no to one of these...

 

Drove a Lamborghini gallado at a track day. Was awesome. They just don’t have the class of an Aston.

 

That’s the Huracan. 4wd, over 600 bhp...

Love Aston’s, but that’s about the sexiest thing on 4 wheels...

Yeah, it’s basically a Shelby. Or they’re still using Carol Shelby’s name...

 

Yeah it's a Shelby, just not a Cobra.

 

Looks like the GT500R is still using the Cobra name and logo..

Cobra was the two seater spider, I think they still make them as well. It's a nice car.

Not gonna be your ‘every day’ car, obviously. But a nice toy if you can afford it!..

 

Aston Martin all day long.

Anyway, just reserved a 5 series touring at a BM dealership in Pontypridd.

Will view and test on Sunday and hopefully it fits the bill, not too much of a schlep away for a sunday afternoon, could even call in on @luvgonzo for a pint on the way back!

 

That’s the Cobra on the steering wheel.

The original is the AC Cobra which dates from the 1960’s.

That was a death trap two seater, especially the 427, A mate had one many years ago. If you put your foot down hard you’d be facing the other way very quickly - and that’s in the dry.
