Good Morning Everyone Radrizzani has said that he doesn't understand the FA's rules, but he wants to copy Wolves business model. "I want to understand the rules so I can act like them," Radrizzani explained. "If it's possible I would do the same as it's been proven to be successful for the team. If not I will do as I did in the past, which I'm happy with too." "They are playing great football and they are managed by a very good coach so they deserve to be top of the league regardless of money or investment," he said. "It's an opportunity for me to clarify the rules because I want to build a successful team on the pitch like Wolverhampton. To do it I might need to have five or six players on loan from an important agent or important clubs in Europe. I need to understand if it's practical as I would like to do the same." "If I do something that is not contemplated by the Premier League I will lose my time to build something that is a success and then which maybe has to stop when I reach the Premier League," he said. Paul Heckingbottom was not happy with Leeds 'lack of game intelligence ' during their 2-2 draw with Reading. “The second goal’s upsetting me,” Heckingbottom said, as quoted by the Yorkshire Evening Post. “It’s initially from our free-kick. We decided to play it quick, we’ve got three men behind the ball but as our three men run forward, Mo Barrow runs forward too. “When their keeper claims it we give them the option to hit us on the counter. It’s those details that have been costing the team throughout the season when you look back. It’s those things we have to iron out because the players were oblivious to it when I pulled them up on that after the game.”
Good Morning to Matt and co from a sunny Bardsey All went well yesterday and I wish to thank everyone for their good wishes It was a cyst so no worries Moe I am taking her at 9 to see the doctor to try and get her fixed and then at 9.45 I have to take my brother in law to LGI he really is poorly so must dash now
Morning all Good to see PH has spotted the problem,I think he will turn us around, not many would have put an out of form under 23 keeper in,and he played Sacko against Wolves to try and stop the wing back runners, didn't work due to Sacko doing nothing, but the idea was good,IMO.
Morning all Radz gets clarification that Wolves have broken no rules it means Radz can change his business model almost 360 degrees. I do however think that the FL/FA will find that Wolves have broken some rules, but I bet there will be no points deduction. Phil Hay reported in the YEP that far from Leeds getting a new manager bounce when PH joined, we have flat-lined. The only positive so far is a reduction in yellow cards and no red cards, so he's improved our disciplinary record. Not good enough for me! 9 or 10 games in and with 9 remaining our season has gone from knocking on the door to mid-table. Phil highlighted issues where a midfield has imploded since PH landed as the form of Phillips and O'Kane has vanished. LDB form gone and even trying Sacko has backfired. Felix has vanished with BPF a risk but the best option available to us. PH still hasn't decided on zonal marking or his preferred man marking system because he hasn't got the players to do man marking. Therein lies a problem with recruitment I would say. We have a set-piece coach who seems useless too, although the players dealt with everything from Reading from set pieces. So a massive difference in performance of our last 2 managers start at the club, and when things dont change you start to wonder if keeping the original would have been best?
Morning all wolves will be ok no sanctions then the loophole will be closed at the end of this season. I've become very cynical lately wonder where it's come from
Morning Chesh. Certainly a brave move sticking Peacock Farrell between the sticks though a win win scenario. Drop an out of form German for a local lad rookie.
Just read an interesting article in the YEP about the mismanagement of Grot. In summary he is seen as one of the best young prospects in Europe. He was a shining light in a very poor Dutch team who got relegated. team were chasing him and Orta had a fight to get him. 19 years old and the feeling is that as hes coming to a strange country he should have been allowed to play in the U23s then go out on loan. TC threw him straight into the Championship even though everyone knew he wasnt ready, but Tommy carried on doing it and the fans got on Grots back and we know what happened. Since dropping to the U23s Grot has played well, scored goals and his second against Hull a belter. Will PH have a go before the end of the season or will he be ready for next season with Tyler Roberts ..... I'm willing to give the lad another chance or as the YEP put it, Grot a boy in a big mans body will be awesome unleashed.
Morning Soc. undoubtedly the FAwill bring new rules in, in the Summer to ensure Leeds will not be able to copy Wolves business model
