It's surely possible they have been looking since the days when it was clear MP2 wasn't the right guy. Maybe they got their man, hence the sacking now - possibly too late, but with logic behind it?

Never nice to see someone lose their job. However, this is most certainly news I can drink to. :emoticon-0167-beer:

Just seen the news; feel a huge burden as been released from the club. I wish him well and hope he finds something of his level that he will enjoy.

Hopefully, Les has someone in the wings waiting to step in. Given the Boards woeful performance these past 2-3 seasons that might be wishful thinking on my part.

Cheers. Drink safe in the knowledge that he is laughing all the way to the bank, not like a real person losing their job. More like a CEO of a big bank after you have steered them into government bailout territory. Nice big fat payday.

It started as “I would” and then the auxiliary verb has gradually become a noun.... in cool people speak.

As my post above. “I would” to a “Wid” as the joys of text speak continue the journey of our beautiful language.

    Opposite of a widnae.

Scottish colloquialism, as in "ah wid", or "ah widnae".

I said at the weekend I always intended to cash it out when it went above 50 in time for our escape. After last night it said £48.85 so I thought that will do.

Will be in my bank for the weekend which will be beers and food for Sunday seeing as I'm short of spare cash after moving at the weekend <ok>
