Come on Barnsley Chances are they are gonna be well gone before the 28th April which is when they travel to Craven Cottage. How hilarious would it be if Mitro bagged a goal or two to finally send them on their way to League 1....he should instantly be handed the No 9 shirt and an automatic starting place forever !!

This summer could be immense, new owners at the Toon and Rafa handed a £100m to spend, and the mackems go into beel overload mode as they go into administration after being relegated.....again ! There are only 2 clubs in the premier league era who have back to back relegations to their names - Swindon relegated from the top flight in 1994 and then Swindon in 2012. They've got a pretty tough run in, i reckon they could be mathematically ****ed in the next 3-4 weeks.

 

It has felt for a few weeks likes things can go down the pan pretty quickly for Sunderland if they have a bad weekend of results with the teams around them winning. In theory a Barnsley win tonight and a bad weekend ahead could have them 8-10 points from safety with 8 games to go, meaning they would likely need 14+ points from their last 8 (just not going to happen).

However, the reality is that unlike at the bottom of the Prem (where teams have much better points per games oddly enough, usually the Championship is a tighter league) none of the teams down there loo like picking up points. As such even though Barnsley have 3 home games in a row I wouldn't bet a penny on them wining any of them. I don't think any of them will be safe/relegated for a couple of months yet.

I want Mitro to score against everyone and be given a chance for us, I love the guy.

 

Lets hope not only Barnsley win tomorrow night but Burton and Hull do as well. Just to put the mackems under even more pressure

The mackems might have had that bastard indian sign over us with their six-in-a-row bollox but that hides the real picture, as we all know. Since the last time we beat them (back in 2011), the mackems have lost 141 league and cup games to a total of 39 teams. It seems everyone can and does beat them (apart from us) which makes that winning streak all the more fortuitous.
