What Carragher did was rank, but I don't believe that the victims ate completely blamless. Also the guy is a moron for outing himself driving wile using a phone for 5 minutes of fame. Kirsty Gallacher got caught three times over the drink driving limit and banned for two years and she kept her job.
Sky have a few employees that have brought bad press to their name that kept their jobs. Chris Kamara got a slap on the wrist, Clare Tomlinson was taken off Goals on Sunday, Georgie Thompson a slap on the wrist and Richard Keys wasn’t sacked - though he did later resign in protest of Andy Gray being sacked.
He was filming and honking his hirn before Carrager spat. So he wants doing for illegally using his mobile and sounding his horn.
It is up to the police to investigate who it was. The bloke said he was with his daughter, he hasn't mentioned anyone else being in the car. So, seeing the hand holding the phone goes back on the wheel it eas either him or his daughter driving. It shouldn't be diifficult to prove who it was. Then the CPS and magistrates can consider if it was a worse offence than the ones they have prosecuted for using a phone or sipping a drink ir taking a bite of a sandwich whilst stationary at traffic lights.
I think the family could have played their hand better. I would have let him deny it before producing the video. Carragher has assaulted a 14 year old girl. He needs to be sacked, he abuses children.
where's the proof she actually got spat on and the spray from his water didn't just end up on the road he will deservedly end up sacked though, just don't spit, it's vile and a health risk
that's true and with the media storm, sacking is skys only option and it's deserved but i honestly don't think she actually got spat on
Contact does not need to occur for it to be considered assault. There was deliberate intent, that's enough for prosecution.
i've changed my mind i completely forgot the law of pyshics there's a big chance she did indeed get hit by it
