Carragher has been stood down from Monday Night Live on Sky tonight. He is appearing on Spitting Image instead.
W hen Celtic played Estudiantes in the Super-Cup the Estudiantes players systematically spat at Jimmy Johnstone, whoever was nearest to him. He had to wash his hair at H/T.
Absolutely scandalous the way the BBC has completely ignored the Muslim child abuse story in Telford. 1,000 mainly young underage white girls systematically abused by Muslim men. BBC not interested.
J******y C******n’s response on the Salisbury chemical poisoning’s is borderline treason. Even lifelong Labour supporters like FHB, Super & Don must be cringing at The Absolute Boy and his pro Putin drooling. I know that many decent patriotic Labour people are.
To be fair to May, she has handled the whole thing quite well. Still think she’s a useless ****, though. Corby is a joke, and just as useless. Just in different ways.
I watched him deliver his speech. To call it pro-Putin drooling is deliberately dishonest, as you know. To raise the points he did went against the mood of the House, and took a certain amount of courage. If Cameron had shown the same courage when Blair was lying to the House Parliament might have functioned as it's supposed to. I was on the stop the war march, and am no Corbyn fan, but when I listened to Mrs May's statement there were a few nagging doubts in my mind. Time will tell.
I totally disagree. Even if Putin was caught red handed, Corbyn and Seamus Milne wouldn’t condemn him. Reason - they admire him. Check out Milne’s articles from 2014 on Russia’s annexing of the Crimea. They are an odious pair & a risk to national security.
It’s a sad state of affairs when the leader of a great political Party stands up and reads out, almost word for word, the same statement on “evidence” as the Russian Foreign Minister. A very, very bad day for the Labour Party.
There are only two suspects for this chemical weapons attack; 1. The Russian Government. 2. The Russian Mafia. If it was carried out by organised criminals, that means Putin has lost control of part of Russia's chemical weapons arsenal. If it was carried out by Putin's regime (much more likely) then it is tantamount to an act of War. Countries which have good diplomatic relations do not launch chemical weapons attacks on each other. This attack is being treated as a source of amusement on State controlled Russian TV. Britain has been openly mocked and goaded. This would strongly suggest that Putin authorised the attack. In my opinion diplomatic relations should be cut back to an absolute minimum, and as many Russian assets in the UK as possible should be frozen. We cannot influence how Russia behaves in other parts of the world. But a chemical weapons attack on UK soil is totally unacceptable and appropriate counter-measures should be taken. I am no Tory, but I congratulate our Prime Minister on the action she has taken so far, and hope that the resolve of the British Government does not waver in the face of this outrage.
Environmental Report: Yuppies across the UK have been found with plastic particles in their digestive systems after drinking nothing but bottled water. A spokesperson for marine life has clicked and whistled a catchy tune on the theme of poetic justice.
