A couple of years ago or so we hardly had a recognisable striker on the books, now we have loads of them, NP must have some sort of fettish for strikers but not many good ones. If I could make a swap I would give any three for Philips, as old as he is.

I wouldn't take Philips now because of his age. Waghorn would be a good additionat but i'd like us to bring in a striker who is reaching the peak of his career, someone aged between 25-30. Grant Holt for example.

Ryan Lowe @ Bury. Bang in form and experienced and would not cost alot. They have Mark Cullen so they owe us one.

why not ? dont give me the "he is a league one striker rubbish". the posters who have also mentioned Sam Baldock are talking good sense. Get them both in Allams. Show some intent.

One player I will be keeping a close eye on this season is Chris Dagnall at Scunny .

Laugh at me if you like but I have a sneaky feeling he's going to score a hatful this season .

A lad I work with is a Scunny season ticket holder and reckons he's a natural born goal scorer .

His record is pretty average but I believe that's a lot to with a couple of injuries .

Not saying we should look at signing him just one to possibly keep an eye on .

Unproven and just more targets for the boo boys! I'm all for building the future of the club but these players will take time to settle in IMO

West Ham also Have John Carew & Carlton Cole, Baldock will be no more than a back up this season

maybe Cole is on his way soon. but yes they can blood Baldock off the bench. another wasted chance by City.
    Chance favours the prepared mind.

We can't expect to compete with teams like West Ham on transfer targets

    I don't think it's a wasted chance by City - we couldn't afford him

I watched him against the Toons last night, he looks a decent player, they were unlucky to lose that game.

oh i think it is. no way would the Allams have sacked Bullard if there was going to be a come back.

i also think that releasing his playing registration would also work in Citys favour should and i repeat should it go any further. but i think it wont. without going into to many details the club have done things correctly and properly.

Jimmy will take legal action, it's just a matter of time and I'm sure the club are well aware of this.

Did you get bored of being a French Tickler then? :emoticon-0112-wonde
