Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has risked the wrath of the FA by accusing them of treating his club ‘like s**t’. The fiery Scot was banned for five games last season after criticising referee Martin Atkinson following United’s 2-1 loss at Chelsea, and could face further punishment after his latest outburst. Wayne Rooney was also handed a controversial two-match ban in April by the FA, who frowned on his foul mouthed goal celebration during the 3-2 win at West Ham. ‘I hope the FA realise one day that this club has produced more [England] players than any other club in the world and maybe they'll get some joy from that at some point in their lives,’ said Fergie. ‘[Maybe they'll realise] how important we are to England, you understand? They treat us like ****.’ From: http://www.metro.co.uk/sport/footba...rguson-the-fa-treat-manchester-united-like-s- It's also on the BBC: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/14678931.stm With a vide of it on the BBC Football Main Page === Looks like sanctions could be on their way. Thoughts?
Wow! Strong words from Fergie, but i cant imagine fergie being as unprofessional as to use that sort of language in an interview with the media! interesting to see where they got his story from!
If the FA piss of Lord F, then suddenly players will be injured when the FA need them. The FA need UTD* *for some players
Seeing that England haven't won or been close to anything since 1966 and play dreadful football now, i don't think missing a few manure players will make a difference....
Arsenal is contributing a lot more to the England setup than ever and will form the future England team. We will bring a more technical game to England and hopefully this will help progress the team skillwise. Current Arsenal players: Wilshere, Walcott, Gibbs Future: OXO, Jenkinson, Frimpong (under 21s but might go to Ghana)....
Is that all you have to say? If you're going to be negative then at least get your facts 100% right. He was born in England and has dual nationality with his father being British and mother Finnish. He has represented both England and Finland youth teams. Now which country would you represent?
That'd be the same Walcott who scored in consecutive games in the Champions league against Udinese. Yeah, he's garbage.
The same play that could not get into the England Squad. He may be fast, but his end product is often poor
It was largely accepted that Fabio messed up by not taking Walcott to the World Cup - can't see how that can be used as some kind of negative towards theo... he saved himself the embaressment. Also all the Walcott haters need to be quiet. He is clearly a good player - scored goals against top opposition and has testimonials of his skill from the likes of Messi and Pep Guardiola.
He would of done a hell of a lot more than SWP, Lennon and all the other crap that we had out there representing us. Walcott should of been taken to the WC and everyone knows it. That's a poor poor argument for Walcott not being good. Like i said check his performances against the likes of Barca.
Does fergie mean they get treated bad because they don't get as many penalties at old trafford as they used to? Surely this can be his only valid complaint. Fergie's relationship with the F.A is one of pantomime villain. We all know they discuss the fixture list during the summer and negotiate over the amount of points they will be handed during a season. Over a relaxing game of golf probably.
The bans have been self inflicted - rooney swearing - ferdinand dodging drugs test - fergie saying refs are bent - theres a long list.
How was I being negative? You want facts? Well from your own website,

'Although born in England, Carl qualifies to represent both England and Finland through his mother.....The 6ft 1ins youngster has already represented both countries at youth level and last season captained Finland Under-19s'. He has recently chosen Finland as the country he is to represent. Hardly makes him a contender for the English squad now does it?
