Eddie Jones gets abused and his attackers are described as animals - Carragher gets abused and his attackers are victims because of the way he reacted - what Carragher did was disgusting and he should be dealt with accordingly - however, winding sportsmen/ women up whilst they're participating might be considered par for the course but winding them up whilst they're going about their everyday lives is taking it too far and should also be dealt with accordingly - in this case I hope the family in the car are also charged with harassment or something similar - everyone deserves to be left alone in their own time
There was a world of difference. Unless there was something not caught on camera the person ‘heckling’ Carragher merely cheerily called out the extraordinarily witless “2-1”. It wasn’t aggressive or expletive laden.
I'd have had no problem if he had followed the bloke, pulled him out the car and head butted him , people who spit at people are the lowest .
but that's not what happened - Carragher claims they'd been at it for a while goading him - it's not until the cars pulled next to each other the family claim they just said said the score - I don't believe them at all - I can imagine what they were doing calling him all the ****ers under the sun- time will tell - at the end of the day he shouldn't have reacted and neither of them should be ****ing about whilst they are driving along
1) So you’re taking Carragher’s word with no evidence, rather than what’s actually on film. 2) He only wound his window down at the end so wouldn’t have heard anything else they said anyway. 3) Even if they said the worst possible stuff imaginable off camera, it doesn’t in any way shape or form excuse what Carragher did. Done.
