Got to agree with you here, never did it as a kid and certainly not as an adult. I have no idea what makes people even think of spitting at someone, either tell them to **** off or crack em.

 

Spitting is impotent rage mostly. Kinda sad tbh. One would lie to think we are beyond such limbic responses to situations, but alas.. no.

 

Carra should be ashamed of himself, his employers will sort out the rest.

There are plenty of fans that take the rivalry too far we can do without members of our club getting involved.

I would assume carragher won't be seen on Tv until the "case" whatever that is is settled up and this season is over. Theres what... 2 months of it left. he can vanish for that.

We will see if he floats back in august i suppose.



Its just a lesson as to how the world has changed.

The guy and kid kid were clearly in high spirits and i for one don't really know what he was doing but giving it large to a star isn't ideal but its not all that bad in celebration i suppose. I don't know how many times he hassled carragher really as the details now don't matter in the story telling. Is it the girl who is filming. Its what you need to realise is there's always someone filming or snapping pics now.

You've an opportunity to look a hero or a villan and carragher sunk to the lowest of the low. Should have had a laugh and a joke and whatever with them and got the **** out of there. threw out a few rashford brilliant comments, threw a world cup looks good and sped off but we will struggle i think to find exactly what level of provocation was there and if it were possible to appease this father with a bit of that.

I actually like Carragher and he’s very good at his job as a pundit. It’d be a shame if this ended up ruining his Sky career. However, he’s no one to blame but himself, a daft act whatever the circumstances, ok he regrets it and he’s swiftly apologised, but I’m not sure that’ll be enough to appease his employers who have a history of being very black and white when it comes to issues of this kind of nature. Spitting ffs, just why, you’re 40 years old man.

 

Disgusting act, disgusting habit/trait, can't see him losing his Sky job because of it, but if he does it's purely down to him.
But his employers need to look at their own morals and hypocrisy if he does get sacked, I've seen former players interviewed on SSN like Molby(jailed for drink driving,), Mickey Thomas(jailed for forgery) and others that hardly lived a chaste life as a player or after their retirement.

What ever happens I hope Carragher learns a very important lesson in decency.

I have no time for the over analysis of such things and blowing them up out of all proportion.
It was an incident where one idiot already seething with anger and did something moronic and childish because of a simple but of wum.

Interviewing those who’ve done wrong isn’t the same as having them as your highly paid pundits though mate, as Keys, Gray and Beagrie will attest to. They should suspend him and let the dust settle imo.

 

Ridiculous thing to do, can't see how he keeps his job to be honest which is a shame as he's a very good pundit but that's tough **** really.

Got to say, not sure the driver ****ing around and filming whilst his daughter's in the car is much better.

 

Tbh, he did it retaliation to criticism, of him and LFC, his job involves him criticising many players/managers.
Nobody is above or beyond criticism including Jamie Carragher.
