It kicked off because a proposed march against them got torpedoed by some of their old hooligans.
They went a bit mental and started ranting about antifa and liberals, then threatened people.

Yeah I read that. Some of the dodgy fan groups want in as Ultras.

Yeah sounds like Gold and Sullivan are trying to buy protection Italian style by hiring old ICF fuds to martial the fans in their favour. Hope the chavs properly revolt at the Southampton game and drag the place to the floor. Wonder if there are tickets going in the away end @Archers Road ?

    We've sold our allocation.

The atmosphere at Saints is ****ing poisonous too right now. If Pellegrino is still our manager on the 31st, the mood amongst our supporters could be as sour as the home fans. Which is a shame for us, because this should be an opportunity for us to drag someone else into the relegation battle.

The modern football fan - self entitled ****ers who think booing their own team is a legitimate response to a **** season.

You can join in smashing the place up. Everyone will be pissed that weekend. It’s a recipe for carnage if you win.

Will be interesting to see who scores first. It was by all accounts kicking off between Saints fans at St James' Park on Saturday.

When I say "kicking off", I mean a bunch of 50 year old men waving their arms at each other, and occasionally administering a shove to the Parka <ok>

I heard it kicked off after a heated discussion about property prices.

On a completely unrelated note, fair play to the Brighton fans who came down to ours on Saturday, they filled both tiers in the away end, which shames many of the supposed bigger and much nearer clubs who only take the bottom tier.

Have never booed ... even when we were truly appalling the season we slipped into league one .. not beyond yelling some 'encouragement' to an individual player through the years, but booing your own team can only ever be counter productive IMHO ...

never get the point of protesting during the match.
Genuinely cracks me up the way the gooners pay for tickets then do not turn up...there were around 20 thousand empty seats there yesterday which means 25 thousand paid and then didn't turn up ... as a protest... bet shoving 40 quid each into Kronkes wallet will teach the ****er <laugh>

This is true, but it isn't really about the team, the performance doesn't help. We've been forcibly evicted from our home of 100 years and put in a shiny piece of plastic that's not fit for football and stewarded, by most accounts home and away, by jobsworths antagonistic towards football supporters so the chairmen can pocket the windfall. Sullivan's constant self-promotion with lies and bullshit tip the balance. We sold Payet and bought Snodgrass, we sold Ayew and bought Hugill, all the while the board are telling us how well managed our finances are (which they are charging 7% interest for) and they're eyes are on the CL. We fans know we won't get in the CL, top half is ok, and we've had enough dire relegation battles and cup 'runs' cut short in the 3rd round by 3rd/4th tier teams, they haven't been marred with crowd trouble, because this isn't about the teams performance but having our intelligence constantly insulted and outright lies told to our face.
