I haven't called for his sacking because that's up to Sky... if it's contractual or they see it damaging ebough that's up to them.

Okay, I admit I was completely wrong. Sky didn't set Keys & Gray up and it probably wasn't the first time they'd made comments either.

I was having two conversations, one with you and one with DF. You decided to be part of both and muddled them up.

 

I think sacking someone for a stupid split second decision when they have next to no previous is daft.

The only previous of him losing his cool I can think of is him throwing the coin back into the crowd. Again, it was a action in the moment and incredibly stupid.

He must face the consequences but I don't think he'll be sacked

 

So do I - that's why I'm disappointed. More than that, I'm angry. Can not (and should not) be anyway back from that.

 

Just a few thoughts from the footage...

The Dad should be charged for using his phone whilst driving.

Athough Carragher did spit on the daughter, that obviously wasn't his intention, he was clearly aiming for the driver; aka the one giving him **** (not much better but...)

The girl doesn't cry as claimed (at least not on camera). She continously tells her Dad to stop recording; aka she thinks her own Dad is being a dick.

The start of the video clearly isn't the start of the incident. He already had is phone ready and recording. Or does this guy always drive around recording other vehicles in the hope of seeing someone famous?

Why the **** didn't the Dad get out when the cars stopped? Carra spat on his daughter ffs

 

Depends what the action is - spitting at a car with a kid in it is disgusting. No matter how riled he was (and he admits it was just the length of the baiting, as opposed to the level - they weren't mocking Hillsborough or anything), spitting is just vile and beyond forgiveness in his role. I know how sanctimonious I sound, but he's just a ****, and as much as I now sort of like Neville, if he did that after a game at Anfield that we won 2-1 I'd say the same thing. Just vile.

 

Not really sure how a vile act is made less vile by comparing it to a viler act. On its own, Carra's act is despicable. You can say it's not as bad as Ted Bundy or Peter Sutcliffe if you want - it isn't neither. But on its own, a high profile TV pundit thought he was being goaded that much that he spat at a car with a teenage girl in it. There is a line, and he totally crossed it: that other crossed that line further is irrelevant.
