He has had, what seven games now? I have not seen one touch that a league one or championship player would be able to pull off. The lack of service is an easy excuse for masking an awful signing. To be fair, it is possible that he's total rubbish. Shane Long often looks like he could be Vardy's equal. Until you then see Long shooting. Until we've seen what he's like in front of goal, I don't see how people can really form any opinion on him so far. Christ, it's hard enough trying to form an opinion on him simply as a target man, given that he's never got anyone around him.
