Is the ref as bad as I think he is?

Phew. Let that get closer than I'd have liked, especially with Fulham getting a laye goal.

Thought it was a good game with the exception of the referee. Was he that bad or was I just tired. Please let me know.
Paterson looked on form, Bryson had a good game, I hope it was more preventative than a reaction to his injury that saw him subbed, he didn't look in discomfort. ML got a goal, so should do his confidence some good. Hoillet, played a blinder until the miss... what a cracking freebie he's proving to be.
Birmingham weren't that bad, but I think Monk has got a big job on his hands if he's going to keep them up. Now, about the ref...

Worse Taff, on a different thread I said things even up in a full season. I take it back BBC Wales said they thought he was trying to wind Colin up. It worked for me.

We had this ref in away wins at Sland & Forest. He was worse than poor today.

    Thankfully we overcome his incompetence.

Incidentally the ref at Villa tonight gave a penalty to Bham when the ball hit Marshalls head but missed a blatant handball by Snodgrass - goal difference may be crucial.

In that regard instead of being 4-1 up thanks to a hideous miss by Hoilett we only increased ours by 1 (again)!

Top save by Etheridge. Again. My player of the season so far.

    .
Not like me to talk about betting, but just had a look at yesterday.....<whistle>

£50 invested, and courtesy of Messrs Bryson and Paterson, £130 returned.

Mind you I did waste another tenner on Damour scoring when he came on the basis of Masky's offere of Doris for 25 minutes.

Big dissappointment for me was big Ken - he let me down badly and that was after I'd bulled him up as well. <doh>

The way your bets are paying out you'll fix the national debt by the end of the season. Was going to say pay off our debt but wanted to stay realistic (and say it before any WUMs join in).

Haven' seen an update on the preseason bets for a whle.

    A breakfast whiskey. Class.

I' m a bit sluggish this morning as I bottled my sloe gin yesterday. There was some left over after filling the bottles. Didn' want it going to waste......
