West Ham 0-3 Burnley West Ham co-chairman David Sullivan has finally been persuaded to leave his seat and retreat to the directors' lounge. He's led away by security, jeered all the way by a group of home fans that are paying more attention to him than the action. David Gold follows suit.
Bradley Allen Ex-QPR striker on BBC Radio London David Sullivan and David Gold have been forced to leave their seats now. I don't know whether they'll swerve the situation now or make a statement to try to ease the ire and antagonism amongst the supporters. West Ham have got five more home fixtures before the end of the season so it bodes for an even more uncomfortable atmosphere. As a club, they cannot be relegated from the Premier League. Sorry, Bradley, but think you're wrong there
West Ham 0-3 Burnley Apparently, the Burnley bench spotted some children that were caught up in the trouble and allowed the youngsters to shelter in their dugout. Another angle to a remarkable afternoon at London Stadium. This one will have repercussions. Hopefully.......
Get Involved #bbcfootball Rob Pritchard: You have to admire the West Ham fans for their stamina if absolutely nothing else. It's miles from the stands to the pitch.
West Ham were never properly punished for the Mascharno (excuse spelling) and Tevez debacle so there is no chance of a points deduction for this in my honest opinion
West Ham United club statement: "West Ham United have immediately launched a full and thorough investigation into the incidents which marred the second half of today's match and are committed to taking decisive and appropriate action. "An emergency meeting has been called with all London Stadium stakeholders. There will be no further comment at this time." Looks like Brian should get an invite
I've paid more for the stadium than The Spammers have. I want my ****ing money back. This is funny though...
Don't know about comedy thread. Nasty, vile, horrible thread might be more appropriate. Perhaps EastEnders isn't as far fetched as I thought
What that reminds everyone is that as far as I recall they got away with all the crowd trouble when they first went there. Any other club would be facing ground closure or playing behind closed doors, although I appreciate the lack of atmosphere probably won't make that much of a penalty to the Spammers. We should run a book on the outcome. My monies on a token fine and a slapped wrist. Too many vested interests for a more punitive punishment.
The club is a collective joke - their fans however are a total mass of racist thuggery. But the media will always spout the 'Academy of Football' crap
Just got back from the clinic lads. This doesn't look good. I laughed so hard that my cock as well as all of my digits have fallen off. I am dictating this message to the outpatient nurse as I won't be able to type until they stitch my fingers back on. Fortunately my vocal chords remain intact so I'll love you and leave you while i resume
