It's good JWP is playing, the best (only) way for us to score is set pieces. We desperately needed him last week. Tadic in behind Carrillo
Think there's a mixture of positive and negative tbh. Starting 11 looks good bar Gabbi, formation less so. I'm still going positive, 2-1 Saints.
It’s actually a decent line up with plenty of options from the bench. As for Tadic I thought he actually did play closer to Carillo last week.
I think given the current situation it better to be gloomy than like this please log in to view this image
Don't give it the doom squad BS. How can any player build on confidence when they get dropped after performing. Well. We all want a Saints win but chopping and changing our better performers makes the job even harder.....that's all, put your dummy back in lol
If we get the Redmond for 90 minutes that we got for 20 minutes last week, then I have total confidence that that team can win. But then if we got the Saints for 90 minutes that we so often get for 20 minutes, we'd be in the top 8. Ifs, buts and maybes. On paper, I'd take our XI over their XI all day long.
I'm sorry but that's nonsense. Have a look through the rest of this weekend's fixtures, and show me one PL manager who has started with the identical line up to last week.
Who said anything about playing a identical line up? You play players that are in form and want to fight for the shirt, I wouldn't have called it out if it was the first time Pellegrino had done it.
I assume every player in that lineup wants to play for the shirt. You start the 11 players you think will perform best together in the circumstances, taking the opposition into account. The players on the bench are still part of the squad and part of the game.
Good stream: http://streamspn.info/tv/nbcsn I'm reasonably happy with the line up, still think we will lose but can't complain too much at the team selected
