You like that word all of a sudden.
Because football is about emotion, and if you don't get that there's more to a Utd/LFC game than 3 points you're in the wrong game.

You ever listened to him talk about the ghost goal? Or watched his teams against us when they've had nothing to play for? He detests Liverpool and always wants to beat us, he's just **** scared of losing to us too!

For me and you maybe, but I would not expect a manager to get all emotional about it.
That said City is the game I want us to win most these days, they were always the local derby but never a real rival, now they are both and a bit more important than you lot (to me) regardless of how it may hurt you to think it.

I hope you're right and he doesn't care. If that's the case he'll rest a few ready for Sevilla

Nope, he hates to lose so will do what he thinks is needed the same as any other game.

No offence intended, but what you think doesn't really bother me. :)
I think most people, if they're honest, believe that our rivalry is the biggest. All daft "history" jibes apart, it's the trophy accumulation that fuels such things, the desire to be "the most successful ever" thing.
City have a long way to go before they can even make a dent.

I will repeat, he is not from England. On top of that he has been manager in games between Real, Barca and Atleti also Inter and AC Milan, in his own country he was involved in games between Porto and Benfica. All of these games were at least as big if not bigger to him than United/Liverpool.
Do you really think Klopp sees this game as bigger than Dortmund v Bayern or is he just saying what you want to hear.

So given the context of the current situation with how the season has panned out , what means more to you, the game against us or against city thats yet to come?

Local rivals, best team in the country (possibly Europe). Why would it be anyone else?

I think that the majority of players and managers who throw themselves wholeheartedly into their clubs would need hearts of stone not to get involved with the passion of their surroundings. Whether or not Klopp thinks it bigger than the German game is irrelevant - the two are not mutually exclusive.
Mourinho has shown - wherever he's been - that his own CV is more important to him than the club he's at.
Whether or not you like either man, it's obvious that they are different and that Klopp clearly is caught up in and resonates with the feelings of the fans.

Well, you claimed Man Utd are Liverpool's cup final. You're also saying Man City is much more important than Liverpool this season. That would be Man City who you can't catch over a gane against Liverpool who you're battling for second in the league. Sounds like you're saying Man City is Man Utd's cup final!

Now, second place may not mean much to you (at least, that's your claim anyway) but it means a damn site more than a dead rubber surely?

The local rivalry can be overshadowed by the Liverpool v Manchester rivalry, especially when you add in the two clubs trophy records.

I'm not being a funny ****er here, I just don't get your logic (in terms of importance of those two games) but I also appreciate that the Liverpool base fans see Everton as the bigger gane whereas I don't.
