If we signed Kaka for £17.5 million, would you be happy?
do you think he would be a good signing or not?
is he too injury prone? would he be able to adjust to the premier league?

he'd sell a HUGE amount of shirts if he came in. Arsenal fans all over the world would want a Kaka shirt. I know I would!!

I would love to have him if he was back to full fitness - but I worry that he would be yet another inury prone player to add to the list - Gibbs, Diaby, Rosicky, Wilshere (?).....that is a worrying trend...

Susposedly AC Milan are the only club showing any interest in Kaka

This would be a fantastic signing and at £17.5 million great value for money.

He may be a little out of shape but could slot in and play the Fabregas role. His passing is fantastic and he is very creative.

It would make financial sense also due to the extra merchandise sales.

I've been sayign we should sign Kaka for ages now (longer than the rumours have been around lol) - he realyl is world class.

This would be a signing that would shwo our intent and that we are still a top club. Not sure how likely it is to happen though :p

We wanted minimum £50 million for Fabregas didn't we?

And i know it's not quite the same thing but Kaka is on massive wages and is out of favour at the club. They are doing themselves no favours by holding onto the player if they won't use him.

He was reportedly available for around £25 million nearer the beginning of the transfer window.

It all depends how much RM actually want him to go.

His wages as reported by the crappy press was £9 million or 10 million euros a year.

Which works out at around £173k a week.

With a slight adjustment to our wage structure and slight pay drop for him we could possibly sort something to do with wages. The extra money from having him at the club would help with this i think and the amount of the transfer would make a big difference as to whether we could afford to pay him without going overboard.

If we paid £17.5 - £25 million, then add his wages of £9 million, we get £26.5 - £34 million cost for his first year at the club. Which is baicaly somewhere in between the transfers of Nasri and Fabregas - so it fits perfectly with what we can afford.

The only issue would be with wages and comming to some sort of agreement although i do think it would be possible.

He really would be an amazing signign though. I would be incredibly happy with Wenger and Arsenal if we brought him into the team.

Kaka, Hazard and Vertonghen = Arsenal actually competing for silverware.

Kaka is one of my all time favourite players but I cant help but think that his best days are behind him and that a move to Arsenal wont ever happen! I cant see Madrid parting with a £56 million signing to be honest, and until Wenger says he is interested i would put the speculaiton down to the media and there made up fairy tales! I would love to see Kaka back to his best and in the premiership but Im not convinced it will happen!

Last season he still managed to score 7 goals in 14 league appearances. Many of them being as a substitute. That's a striker's ratio. Injuries or not, he's still an extremely effective player.

He's an amazing player. He still gets goals and assists when he plays and he adds a strong creative element to any team he plays for. He can orchetrate attacks which is what we need. Honestly Kaka for me is the dream signing. One of my favourite players and would love to see him playing in the EPL. Was excited about seeing him more often when the rumours of a move to Chelsea and then to City surfaced.

An out of form Kaka is better than an in-form Diaby. So id give 17.5 Mill without a farce.
