I'd usually say not selecting a keeper is a brave move but it's Man Utd; they won't leave their own penalty area!

    PS...it'll be Lovren, not Matip.

City could theoretically clinch the prem by beating united. I reckon they'd quite like to do that <laugh>

If we don't play a keeper we could bring in an extra midfielder. <party>

I think yes you are right.

I think cheslea would be I hope looking at a long shot for 4th even if they beat us by the second last game so thats why i thought while both are tough games utd are at more of a disadvantage.

Utd won't want to see city crowned champions and be signing in the dressing room next door so will try their utmost also.

It really depends on who wins the game this weekend

If we win and go second then its down to city mathematically preventing us from catching them. If we win then beat watford we would go to 66 points with 7 left. = 87 points possible

city beat Swansea and everton and they are on 84. they could have the beat utd and have us lose

so if LFc do their thing city cannot beat utd to be champions.

Saw its a draw between us.

    utd on 66 with 7 left = 87 and us on 64 with 7 left = 85

THEN city can win their next 3 and get to 87 with vastly superios GD and call themselves champions v utd.

City would need a couple draws really for things to go their way no?

Most likely april 14th v spurs = title winning game.

TBH if TAA doesn't play i reckon our lot realry fall for that as none are local.

Henderson seems to know where the line is more or less though refs can act odd in these games.

    I am constantly amazed that

Everton V liverpool game is so completely different to a Utd v liveprool game in tersm of reffing that they might as well be two different sports

Merseyside derby is refs like a rugby game. you can and do see sides getting stuck into each other.

Utd game is any tackle and you could be off... if you are a liverpool player.

I hope TAA doesn't play - he's not a right back and Valencia will tear him a new one. While Gomez is a CB filling in at LB, I prefer him there.

not.valencia as he will be against robertson.

tbh its more about who might dive in... id almost worry about milner most tbh <laugh>

my prediction is lovren, milner, henderson and can all booked.

I'd rather TAA play tbh, his end product is much better. With Man Utd parking the bus, the end product will be more important than defending!

What I like atm is we have options for balls down the side, with Mane and Salah.. so we can deal with a high press, and put teams off of doing it

    PAUL MERSON IS PLAYING SAFE.

Manchester United v Liverpool (Saturday from 11.30am on Sky Sports Premier League)
I can't see Liverpool losing. It's a game where the first goal is massive, but Liverpool score and have plenty of pace in the team. They're playing well and have confidence. I don't think Manchester United will be able to cope with them at the back.

please log in to view this image

Mo Salah already leads the Premier League scoring charts - will he strike again at Old Trafford?

United won't open it up, I don't see that happening at all. If they win, they'll probably get second, but if Liverpool do I think they'll definitely end up coming runners-up.

PAUL PREDICTS: 1-1 (5/1 with SkyBet)

TAA is a rb. Where do you think his best position is then?

Also Valencia is at RB so won’t be against him? Do you mean Sanchez? Also Gomez is filling in at RB not LB?
