are you the guy that put the women making suggestive seductive phrases when talking about an m and s sticky toffee pudding
Sadly, the Great British public don't give a **** where or how their gear is made, making it very difficult for those of us not willing to buy cheap **** from Bangladesh to achieve decent prices.
been discussed for a while fair play for having a go, but have I missed something and Hull have been shortlisted ?
I can patriotically make them here, unfortunately I can’t get people to patriotically pay the required prices for making them here. I’ve tried twice to launch entirely UK made brands and failed miserably both times, though I am meeting with a UK jacket factory next week. Regardless, thinking that the UK made gear is made in great conditions and everywhere else is a sweatshop is rather daft.
There are indeed sweat shops here. I am having to make sacrifices in other areas in order to patriotically get Lobb or Loakes footwear to go with my Savile Row attire.
The sort of thing that is needed. Hope it wotks but I await the objections from residents and police. A compromise will be reached where they can have events until midnight with no music after 10pm or alcohol after 11pm. Can't see Amsterdam, Berlin and Prague being concerned about this new late night party town losing them custom as party people head here by the planeload.
I demand you relaunch Mansfield Hosiery. Some happy days getting stuck into the birds who worked there.
If Noel came here he could tell everyone which bridge Hull is famous for as it has 13. Is it Myton or Drypool?
Await Hull City fan appearing in court charged with historical cases of causing trauma to young ladies.
You must have a lot to sacrifice Castro, just looked at the Lobb pricelist. Nearly fell off my chair! £5k for a pair of shoes? £40 for a 'kin polishing cloth?
And you get to tell a joke every time you’re half way through putting your pair of shoes on “...I’ve got a Lobb on” can be worked into any situation for comedic effect.
When I did jury service one of the cases was 2 women who worked there were accused of nicking stuff and selling it on the markets, I learnt a lot about the rag trade that week.
Whatever happened to the HDM? Online version is full of lowest clickbait inc this confected 'Noel Gallagher rubbishes our city' nonsense. Shame so many people allowed themselves to be sucked in.
As someone who does give a ****, I simply find it to difficult to be sure of what, when, where. I would much prefer to buy English (Yes, not UK). There was a programme,on recently, of a company (in Wales, I think - I caught a small part of it, but they seemed to have heritage in that location) who made denim jeans to order, the lengths they went to in personalising them was amazing, but the prices were looking crazy. I'll buy stuff from wherever, but I do care about the manufacturers rip-off employment terms.
