Thanks for posting that Chilco. I first heard it many years ago but probably dismissed as just a catchy tune. I obviously didn't listen properly because it's such a great song and as you say, that's a good live performance. Sad lyrics but even more so because Arthur died relatively young. LOVE seemed to pass me by at the time (the band, not true love). I'll give Forever Changes a proper listen now.

Happy 49th Birthday to Blur Lead Guitarist, Secondary Vocalist and Co-Songwriter, Graham Coxon who was born on this day in Rintein, Germany in 1969. He is a Multi-Instrumentalist and also a Painter. Coxon plays several instruments and records his albums with little assistance from session musicians. Q magazine critic Adrian Deevoy has written: "Coxon is an astonishing musician. His restless playing style – all chord slides, rapid pulloffs, mini-arpeggios and fractured runs – seems to owe more to his saxophone training than any conventional guitar tuition."[1] An innovative lead guitarist,[2] he has been described by Oasis bandleader Noel Gallagher as "one of the most talented guitarists of his generation."
