Think it’s partly due to where it is. It’s only small, can see swelling where it’s fractured. Said that they’ll confirm but could be something that could cause arthritis if doesn’t heal properly and don’t have surgery.
Really didn’t want an operation. Never had one before... I know it’s only small one and prob pretty routine just the thought of being knocked out
for gods sake you get to 1..2..3 then next you'll know you will be woken up in recovery . no big deal mate honest.
prob wont knock you out anyway. they only go full on stuff thats really serious or more easy to do like scopes and stuff sometimes they give a thing for you to di your own pain control.
They usually inject nowadays, no counting. They couldn't pierce my vain though so I got the old fashioned counting. I was told to count to five, I remember saying four
still told to count when i was injected middle of 2016 .thought at time it should have been local or a nerve block but knew why after the event why they insisted on a general. The surgeon was ****ing useless & made a right mess of the job and me ... .............................i was still bleeding a week later
thats the kind of fatalistic attitude to this that gets a lad over the fear of dying under anaesthetic. just say a **** it. why waste your last few hours worrying
