    Much as I thought. Peaceful, non-disruptive protest that didn't deserve the ban given - good on him for making his well considered protest. I hope (and believe) he will be right about the new owners.

    Why bother with the ballot in the first place ?

    Just announce the result North Korean style

    Members voted 11000

    no to concessions 13000
    yes to concessions 0

    It'll save a fair bit on postage.

    I think those negotiating should take a hard line, and be clear about what fans want, with no compromise and no concessions...hang on, I reckon I need to rethink this.

    Normally, I'd agree, but as I'm aware that they'd unanimously vote to reintroduce concessions, I'd be happy for it to be put to them on this occasion (though the club are also aware of this, so there's no chance they will).
