I think we will win this 2-1.
I start with optimism and am fully prepared to give SM my full backing for the season.
He has had to deal with a lot of **** and still has a lot of deadwood to shift so our rebuilding will take time.
Really looking forward to the new season now.. although I'll be missing this game as I'm stuck in a Turkey (go on Obi... fill your boots mate).

I'm really looking forward to seeing this lad wear the shirt too...

So it was prepared for 2 seasons ago, it’s still a match day thread with lots of work put in ....in finding it.

Funny how certain names keep cropping up.

Still better than ACS, even if it was his.

2-2 on the day that day. Not sure I'd be happy with that, though a point wouldn't be a disaster. It feels like we're destined to drift along 16-18th from now on.

Yep - they are like a fine wine. Need to be laid down for a couple of years before they are fit to read. He should start writing some now for 2019/20.

Are those odds still available? I so can someone put a 10quid bet on us to win 2-0. I will pay them back of course (or just take it from my winnings). Just I can't access the betting website from here.

Looking at this game and the following SJP fixture vs Huddersfield, I can't think of two more important games in recent memory.

If we lose either or both of these games, then we are staring relegation in the face.

Home games against the teams around us are MUST win.

I'm not confident but I remain hopeful.

HUGE HUGE HUGE game, 3 points or we really are looking over our shoulder at the drop. Same for Southampton though so think it'll be a cagey 0-0 that helps no one as we look to sit in and defend our precious points and goal difference.

We need to attack them in this game. None of this cautious approach **** Rafa. Anything less than 3 points from this game is not acceptable.

Too long to bother reading. I like short succinct posts as you know.

    1-0 win.

    Massive game.

We need to win this...end of. I think we have a 3 week layoff until the next game. These are the games that will make or break our season. The Man Utd result was a fluke, lets be honest...not talking nowt away from the lads, they defended so so well and we scored a well worked goal to nick the points. What followed in terms of results was probably to be expected and we would have pretty much predicted 1 points from the next two games (Bournemouth and L'Pewel). We've been pretty **** at home all season and we need to start turning it round.

I'm going for 3-1 home win. Murphy, Ritchie and Gayle to score.

    That'll probably be 1-1 as well <laugh>

We're the draw specialists and never seem to beat any teams around us (bar wba) so can see a draw.

Don't think we've got a great record at your place though.
