Read back through the thread of conversation and it should be obvious.
Come on Diego, if you want to lock horns with me in a debate you'll have to come up with something more inventive than mere contradiction or disingenuous questioning. I'm neither that bored nor that stupid.

Tell me what advantage Spurs playing more games gives any of us?
Do you expect to drop out of the top 4 because of Spurs, because that is the only thing that could hurt either of us as things stand.

Tbf i dont actually, and i realise its tempting fate, think that anyone will drop out the top four now, it is all about th CL and we are both very much alive in it :)
    Spurs, alas are not
Were they the first english side out this season then, cause i remember us getting loads of grief about that under rodgers

Wow, you actually get it. Spurs results shouldn't make any difference to either of us on prize day, Chelsea on the other hand could spoil the party.

No idea to be honest, if Jose goes to form then 0-0, if not it could be any score either way.

I think jose might use this to shut people up, he has almost a no lose scenario here,
If he attacks and wins - jose wins
If he attacks and loses - jose can turn and say i tried it and we lost, no real problem cause after a good win we stuff up next game so utd get points back, plus jose was right all along
If he attacks and draws, neutrals happy and jose and jurgen win :)

    @Diego @I.T.
Does this help? Sorry if it doesn't because it's the most work I'm prepared to undertake in order to make a point on a football forum.
I'm off to bed so I'll leave you to ponder....

Not sure about all that lot no idea what it was about but all i am saying is that the top four is looking solid now. It is going to take a **** up to dislodge any of the ones in there now imho.
And you cant have this both ways, you tell me to shake my sabre, so i go and say we are gonna make top four then you lump me in with Deigo - wtf <laugh>

I'll be gutted if we get a negative result at OT but tbh that would still leave us in charge of our own destiny for a 3rd/4th finish due to points already on the board, our run in after the weekend is not as bad as it could be.
Also theres no way Mourinho will go all out for a win against us, they(like us)can't win the title so his focus will purely be on their CL task next week.

    0-0 or 0-1. :emoticon-0100-smile

Yup and tbf if we do lose we have the games to be able to correct it
As you say it is most definately in our hands, which tbh is nice with 8 to go. As I have said above, it going to take something monumental now. At the minute there is no telling when Chelsea and Arsenal are going to pull out of their respective slumps.
(See saint I am trying to be positive, i fear i have tried this beingpositive before , where are wishi and jaffa when i need them) <laugh>

Liverpool have booked their place in the Champions League quarter-finals after completing a 5-0 aggregate victory over FC Porto.

The sides played out a goalless draw at Anfield on Tuesday night after the Reds had put five past their Portuguese opponents in the first leg at Estadio do Dragao.

Jürgen Klopp's team have already been joined in the last eight by defending champions Real Madrid, who beat Paris Saint-Germain 2-1 (5-2 agg) at Parc des Princes.

Six more quarter-final places are still up for grabs, with the following clubs yet to play their round-of-16, second-leg ties:

    Wednesday March 7
    Manchester City (4) v (0) FC Basel
    Tottenham Hotspur (2) v (2) Juventus

    Tuesday March 13
    Manchester United (0) v (0) Sevilla
    Roma (1) v (2) Shakhtar Donetsk

    Wednesday March 14
    Besiktas (0) v (5) Bayern Munich
    Barcelona (1) v (1) Chelsea

The quarter-final draw will take place at UEFA's
There will be no seeding and no country protection so Liverpool could draw any of the other English teams - United, City, Spurs or Chelsea - should they make it through.

The team drawn first for each tie will play the first leg at home, on April 3 or 4, and the second leg away, on April 10 or 11.
