That's funny that, I've just walked up princes road (the part with queens on the corner) I noticed sign at one end had an apostrophe, the other didn't. I thought of this site, then what's the first post I read when I log on

Endike/Endyke Lane is spelt differently at either end too. And a sign on Hall Road (near Rampton Horse pub) is actually a sign for Hull Road with a sticker on the top (you can see the imprint of the U on the back). Good old ‘Ull.
It was rumoured months ago but 'Hull Venue' have pretty much confirmed that Liam Gallagher is going to be the first to perform at the new venue.
Tweeting Liam Gallagher and asking him if he fancies officially opening the new Venue, is certainly no confirmation of him actually doing it.
It's already been confirmed, do you honestly think they'd bother wittering on like this across all of their social media accounts if it wasn't? I was told about it months ago.

They've literally only just asked him on twitter, as Noel was caught slagging off Hull the other night and because Liam said Hull was great when someone from Hull said he was coming to one of his gigs. If they've got something sorted behind the scenes, then fine, but nothing has been confirmed at all.
I’m very much inclined to agree with DD. If I was doing their social media there’s no way I’d be publicly tweeting anybody asking them this unless I knew they were already doing it. Their social media bod is capitalising on the Noel stuff as a way to announce him. If they are simply asking him via Twitter when it isn’t confirmed then it’s City-esque incompetent.
