Asking us if we remember these goals....more to the point would be do we remember the player.<laugh> Well, yes I do, but not without a prompt.

Jon Forte moment. Loved it, then he disappeared, like magic. How we could do with a one match miracle brace now.

This was a good one and a massive win for the Saints.
I recall watching in a social club in Southampton as no tickets for away fans or something.
Was anyone in that social club?
The Le Tiss free kick is utter perfection and we won and we really needed the points. Alan Ball had just been appointed as manager - good times

I like newcastle but i hope we beat them!
My confidence has gone with Saints even with all these draws - I cant even bring myself to follow the footy updates on the BBC football website on a matchday now - I will probably check the result at about 5.55pm on Saturday and if we do win i will cheer but if we lose I will try and pretend that it never happened and that i dont really care (though seceretly I do and will be annoyed and upset)!

This match has got 0-0 written all over it.
Two teams that struggle to score with managers who go out not to loose. Add the treble pressure that's going to be on everyone frightened of making a mistake it all adds up to a dull stailmate

My Toon supporting mate and I will be getting the bus from Stockton, through the magic of buspasses. I think the journey back will be difficult for me either way as there are several other Toon fans travelling. If we win, in my dreams, they will be really poked and if they win, a more likely outcome, they will be very loud in my ears. I am predicting Saints to dominate the game before and after Toon score the only goal. If they can beat Manure, they can stuff us.

Not expecting us to get a win, maybe another 1-1 but I think a narrow toon win.

I see some goals in this game. Benitez v his apprentice.

Sims deserves a start as does gabbiadini. I would like JWP to start as well.

The defence picks itself. For all the stick Hoedt has received for a couple of blunders, he does get stuck in and gives full commitment and won't knock him for that.

This is winnable guys. Be brave.

Absolutey the ref can spend most of the game jogging round the centre circle without breaking a sweat

I’m going for an exciting 2-2. Actually no, a dull 0-0.
