Yikes.... so awful When I was in A and E on Saturday I just saw that we are all ruled by chemistry and how limited our bodies are. Incidentally i have a potassium issue which i dont understand as one of my meds for my BP is a 'dirty' drug... I have to juggle all the meds against my health conditions and my GP is not very helpful all the best....................
I am really sad to read this. I am sure that none of us would have wanted to go through this with a loved one. The thoughts that come from over here will continue as they have since you were forced to leave Wales.
Ha, it would become the largest thread in no time and deserve a sticky Seriously though I am sorry to hear this and I hope some sort of balance can be achieved to make her more comfortable. Thinking of you.
You have to have or you would curl up and die. Mrs A (Guinivere is just too silly) has a tremendous sense of humour too and I am sure that helps a lot in her coping with it all. A bit like gallows humour, we could make you laugh with some of our hospital stories. Anyway this place is for fun not for us to be sad. It is always a joy to follow the magnificent Horns.
Sorry to see a few of you suffering but I guess we can all only do our best to get the most from everyday. And nothing cheers one up more than helping others, even if that is just sending on good wishes . At least now with technology for many we can reduce the horror of loneliness that the majority used to suffer. I doubt once my 'Uncle' Len, the most fanatical hornet I ever knew, could no longer get to games due to illness, that he ever saw more of Watford than the results on a saturday afternoon. He'd have loved this forum remembering all the great experiences of the past. The players from the 50s onwards. The seasons he went to every game home and away. How he found time to have 4 kids heavens knows. Anyway here in Southern Spain the rain has stopped. The tornado that passed two days ago is forgotten unless your yatch was damaged (not that many neighbours fit into that category). And even our TV aerial has been replaced. As for water coming in through the kitchen ceiling it is no more than a crack in the painted lower roof insolation. Here with so much unemployment we can get it fixed for next to nothing. Even a replastering of the kitchen is peanuts but I'll put that off for a while. I quite like a bubbly ceiling even if wife is not too keen Felt for CPalace last night but even though I doubt they will go down I guess the right result for us. Anyway enough wafferling. Need to make a cauliflower/potato/leek/carrot cheese for my Spanish inmates. Then I have to get my wifes visa for India sorted. Then some work. C'est la vie. Have a great day everyone and I hope all ailments take a day off
Not yet Art. I got an NHS letter today but it was a bi-annual self test kit for bowel cancer. Not a pleasant operation if you know what I mean
Morning all. Bright and breezy here at present, but rain forecast for later. 7 o'clock yesterday evening and it was still light. Better, longer days are just around the corner.
It will be better still from Sunday when the clocks go forward an hour Does that happen in France at the same time?
