PSG overturning a two-goal deficit, which would cause Neymar's fragile ego to shatter like his metatarsal? Also, this'll take up eight minutes...
Article on the Beeb lauding Ben Davies' astonishing rise to prominence. He thoroughly deserves the accolades finally flowing his way. Interesting to note that despite playing far fewer games than the DOF, Davies has notched up more career assists.
I think this came up months ago - or some comparison stat that undermined the argument that we lost so much as an attacking force when Ben was playing. Great to see him being rewarded for such a consistent high level of performance. The slip in the 1st leg was virtually the first real costly error since the bad night at Anfield over a year ago.
Am going with my 15 yr old tonight! Ofsted came to my school yesterday...was calm as feck while everyone else was chewing their nails off...but today they will be strolling round while I will be nervous as hell. COYS
I've ordered a bigger bag of the green stuff..it's going to be that kind of evening. Plus I can imagine a few of the lads on here will be wanting/needing a few tokes too COYS
You are one of the people I had in mind Dee, was thinking a few days ago, the kid in your Avatar, how old now?
Looking forward to the match tonight, have enjoyed my recent trips to Wembley and hope that continues - But this is a very difficult match I am not going to call now -I just know that we will have to be at our very best to progress, no question that we can win, but every player that steps on to the pitch in white tonight will have to be spot on from the moment that they cross the white line - Come On You Spurs
Definitely no ‘uniform-carriers’ allowed out there tonight!! And hoping that when the going gets tough - as it likely will - that we see some real leadership out there on the pitch. A night for calm heads and resolution - no headless chicken battles. COYS!!
Not a dry eye in the house....... https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/fo...-he-is-going-to-his-first-match-a3784041.html
Great kid. Loved the ‘Thank you so much’ comment! Hope his tears later are of delight at the result.......
Cannot wait for tonight. I too will be skiving off early today. Need to lubricate the vocal chords at the pub first. COYS!
Siblings. Reminds me of a time on my block when a kid was going on school holiday to Italy, and his little sister went ballistic when his folks gave him his spending money (a wad of bank notes in Lire - exchange rate must have been GBP = 2000 Lira back then) .
