Manager Steve McClaren has announced that former Cardiff City midfielder Peter Whittingham has agreed to extend his contract at the club.Fans favourite Whitts told local reporters "Yeah! Im well pleased man,Steve's been so good to me right and I even get paid and that and the Forrest fans are wicked you get me."

Well he did join them a year ago, so he's probably due a new contract.

They should give Earnie a new contract too.
 
Speaking of Ipswich, they are splashing the cash aren't they? Bullard and sonko are in and they won't be Coming cheaply. Fair enough they've got the wickham money but with the likes of leicester and west ham also spending big it shows no team has a right to be up there but also that the amount of money some teams in this league is frightening, and I havnt Mentioned teams like Birmingham and notts forest!
 
Great news about Whitts.

One player who we have who really should be in the PL.
