Supporting Sunderland is just awful really. As far as football goes I feel sorry for the poor fans who genuinely feel psychological pain over our plight. Terrible club!
Im sick of saying it. 442 is the only way to play in this league like every other team. 3 CB's is just inviting teams to attack us. We have no attacking outlet at all. We need to fight fire with fire and if we do get beat at least weve had a good go. With the players we had available tonight this lineup would have given us a far better chance of getting something...... ....................Steele................. Love...Kone...OShea....Oviedo Mcgeady..Ejarja..Honeyman..LuaLua ................Maja..Asoro............ What has Fletcher done to get chosen infront of Maja and Asoro?
Villa did nowt but go 2-0 up that's how crass we were, Kone was at fault giving the ball away then not stopping the cross which led to the first goal, we will not win another match this season and break the championship record and have our 2nd worst home record in history, garbage up front and the back. we might have stopped up with 37 points but wont even get there.
That is pretty ****ing handy. All that's been lost tonight is one match and some pride. 4 points still, hardly a mountain. The 41-16 points target which (iirc) is usually needed is starting to look unlikely and maybe 38-40 is all that is required. I can see Sunderland getting to 38+ but think we're going to have to hope (and rely) on Barnsley and Hull continuing to mess up regularly.
Cos Grayson's were working, weren't they? We've got a crap squad. No matter what formation you play, we're still crap.
No manager currently within our pulling power can drag our players and club out of this drudgery. Coleman, like most managers, makes mistakes. But he hasn't got the players at his disposal that have enough grit, determination and quality to bail him out when he makes his mistakes. Can't really blame the majority of the players either. They are poor players, average at best, playing for a club intent on committing suicide. By footballing standards it must be ****ing depressing playing for us.
I'm not blaming Coleman for the mess , just expected a bit more from him and feel disappointed he's achieved nothing in terms of halting the slide. We are worse if anything. Bringing Jones on and keeping that formation was very poor decision making.
Its not rocket science. Whats John Terry and James Chesters weakness? Pace. Why leave 3 pacey forward players on the bench and play Fletcher upfront on his own? Coleman made us putty in their hands tonight.
Definatly not. Cardiff have Greg Halford playing for them ffs. It boils down to making the right team selection and formation to play our squad to its full potential and Colemans still not doing that right.
