It's only been 4 games. Besides, I don't think his indiscretions have been so much a temper problem, he just likes to hurt his opponents. I would call it infamous stupidity. Maybe he is growing up a bit, though.
He’s a good manager though Jokanovic. Plays good football which has suited Mitro (despite what people think of him). He knows him well from when they worked together years ago. Obviously knows what makes him tick. Rafa clearly doesn’t. It’s just a clash which happens in football. Most managers are stubborn and all have players they can’t use effectively who flourish under others. It’s just really frustrating in our situation of course. To be honest I’ve thought for a long time Jokanovic would be a manager who would be loved here because of the style of football.
Jokanovic is going places. Watching Fulham under him is a bit like watching us in the early Keegan days. All out attack.
I would rather sign a unfit player for a relegation run in who may not ever play than a loaned out fit proven goalscorer.
No one yet again mentions our other strikers - Armstrong now on 5 in last 6 games. Another player who will never be given a chance.
Armstrong and Mitro or Gayle and Joselu hmmm TBH haven't seen Armstrong play in years but the new manager could give that pairing a go preseason!
Aye can someone have a word with Bournemouth about sacking Eddie Howe n all? He's sent Grabban on loan, fackin TWICE
I still have hopes for Armstrong. He has done well at junior level at club and international. He needs games like any young player. Perhaps this season will do him good. He is 21 so we just need to show some patience. It does seem a bit mad we are struggling up top and yet have him and Mitro scoring for fun presently, albeit at a lower level. Our current strikers can't score at this level, so it seems nuts that we have fans happy to write off Mitrovic/Armstrong in favour of players we actually know can't do it at this level? Anyway I'm pleased for both. They deserve to be playing football and are showing when given the opportunity they can do a good job.
Don't forget that for a while... Fulham's main target has been Gayle. If Mitro scores 5.... Gayle would likely score 8.
I think if you look at what Jokanovic has been saying, that is only because he couldn't imagine Mitrovic being available. He thinks all of his Christmas's have come at once. To be be fair if he fires them to automatic promotion they pretty much have. I have no doubt Gayle would have got goals also, Jokanovic is a good manager and his teams set up to attack.
Rafa Out, Mitro In Then we might try to ****ing win, With big lad up top, banging in the goals, Making Rafa look like a fool.
Now which manager of old used to play a bully boy tactics with big men up front?? Oh yeah..... JFK! Bring him back!
Look at this ****e the chronic(pile-of-****)le are spewing today... https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/spo...w-aleksandar-mitrovic-offered-chance-14377623 Has anyone acctually ran a training session for adults before? Training is basically a kick about for them A) no adrenaline like match-days, B) risk of injury means you don't go flying around giving 110% Goals per min in the EPL - Mitro leads the way no question This is the only stat I'd be worried about but no we want to worry about than how many sprints are made in training by a target man... FML
Christ, hope this isn't true but looking at the appearance record for Perez and Joselu, it probably is. Jesus, we might as well have Big Sham back. I knew there was something afoot that I didn't like, and it's this. Call me crazy, but I like a manager to work with humans, not numbers. I’m kinda decided now that if I’m not even remotely entertained there’s just no point. Long since accepted silverware is nothing but a myth, and the thought of season after season setting up to not get beat just saps the remaining life out of me. We need to change either the owner or the manager. Maybe even both. We need to move forward. They've been doing GPS **** for ****ing years and it doesn't achieve anything, it's not realistic because humans aren't machines. Benitez is looking more and more like a bit of a relic. Managing by numbers, pre-meditated substitutions, it's unpleasant. I like the way Howe, Wagner, Jokanovic, Carvalhal manage. The time of Benitez, Allardyce, Moyes, Mourinho is approaching the end. Would we move forward with Ashley/Charnley? Nope. Would a new owner want Benitez? Yep. Not sure what the future holds for us. Of around 10 possible outcomes, at least 9 are ****.
