On the game, I will be making the long drive with my lad (Saturday off Hockey), accompanied by my Toon mate and his lad and friend (both Toon fans). Spoke to him today and we are both beginning to have that feeling that this may not have been the best plan. Massive, huge, gigantic game for both teams and a friggin’ long journey home in the car for one set of fans
I took 3 Newcastle fans to St Mary’s 2 years ago for the game that pretty much sealed their relegation. That was a fun drive back! Although, fair play to both Newcastle and Benitez, he’s still there!
This weekend, I will be waiting for the hammer to fall, though not sure if this is a good thing or not! I guess it would be more appropriate for the West Ham game!
