Actually, I happen to agree with you. I consider myself a fan of the club, used to go to away games well back in another life (sometimes to ER) and I mean when you could rock up to an away ground and pay at the turnstiles . But a harsh reality in the modern game is that clubs rely on Sky TV money increasingly for revenue (more so in the prem). I have a Sky subscription, we've been on 20 odd times and get paid for each time we're shown live, so playing devils advocate, me, ELM and the others with Sky technically 'support' the club financially if indirectly.

Okay. Technically WJ is correct. You equate 'support' to only mean by finance, you can support someone in difficult times or hardship without having to give them money. All our Irish friends on here will also tell you (if they don't batter me for stereotype) buildings can't stay upright without the right support
