PSG v Real looks real interesting. I'm not sure about missing Neymar. I thought he kept dribbling into trouble throughout the first leg and no one wanted to pass to Cavani. Imean,Cavani can only score goals (and miss sometimes) and then they substitute him! .....and Bale? Is this his last season at Real,I wonder? If (if I say) we get through, there are no easy games for anyone..........(?)
Mandzukic is missing for Juve tomorrow which is good news. However, Higuain, who will probably return after 3 weeks out, Dybala and Douglas Costa are all fit. Our progression will hinge on how well we deal with those 3. Will be a great CL night, but I'm going full RCL on this and predicting an ultimately disappointing outcome.
Unfortunately, this is one of those games that may hinge on the referee. They're very skilled at the dark arts and we're amateurs by comparison, despite Arsene's wisdom. They're not going to pull any punches and a strong and impartial set of officials is going to be needed. We need to expect gamesmanship and do nothing stupid.
Thank goodness Aurier isn't there to reduce us to 10 men. Is Alli a bit of a risk, in the circumstances? Or Lamela? Dembele? Wanyama? And Jan will have to calm Dav down, too. We do have a few who might react to provocation. It could be tasty! Fine dividing lines! Oh dear! I'm feeling a bit down after reading this! Cheer me up, someone. Please.
I`m predicting an awful display of refereeing costing Spurs, and UEFA would love it if another of their darlings could progress to the quarter finals.
Nothing to worry about when he takes corners then Edit: just read Roos reply...must learn to read threads till end before commenting
If only. The guy is a bit deadly from set pieces. Maybe he'll catch whatever disease Eriksen caught when he moved to London.
There seems to be a direct correlation between the tactical ability of his coach/manager and his ability to bang in free kicks. The more inept the coach, the more likely he'll score - which certainly explains why he was so deadly from dead balls when Dim Sherwood was in charge...
I wonder who wants to watch Liverpool today with a 5-0 lead.Surely there is something else to watch..............?
