I think he is actually - a very creative, skillful ball player. And we should probably be using him more than we currently are - him on one side and Deulofeu on the other would give the opposition plenty of problems imo.
Fair point - he has the ability and well if Andre Gray costs 18 million then an international winger won't come cheap.
Many reports on the Spurs £50m double bid for Doucoure and Richarlison. I don’t have the time, but am tempted to reply to every report on Twitter with ‘I take it you mean £50m each, right?’.
That was reported in the "Sun" and we all know what there reporters use there right hand for looking at there page 3 .This gives them sticky keyboards so the 1 does not work it should have read 150M (and if they dont like that price they can sod off)
Will he sign or not ? http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2018/03/0...s-permanent-watford-deal-could-be-off/page/1/
Watford are reportedly at the front of the race to sign highly-rated Stevenage defender Ben Wilmot. The teenager has been on the radar of north London rivals Spurs and Arsenal, but national media reports suggest that the Hornets have raced to the front of the queue. Wilmot is just 18-years-old and has established himself at the heart of Boro's defence since the turn of the year, starting their previous 11 g
My Dad’s been going for well over 70 years and he says (despite the fact that “today’s players play with a beachball” ) it’s the strongest squad ever.
Fair enough, ethel, but I’ve been watching him closely for long periods in recent games, and I admire his movement, understanding, deftness of touch, coolness, guile and telepathy when working with others.
I have been going for 65 years, and I would agree with your Dad, although I can think of times when the team was more exciting.
That sounds fair. I’m a youngster with a only a few more than forty years’ attending, and I believe the quality is better than ever. But sure, a long way to go before I think of them alongside the greats of the 70s/80s. I do rate Deeney in the same breath as that lot, though. And surely Gomes must be able to stand alongside our greatest keepers in terms of contribution as well as talent?
Must be the most technical on a good day. Most expensive too but then that is probably the same for every club now. The only down side is its probably one of the most injury prone!
With the first influx of the Pozzo time we had some great talent for the Championship. I remember one goal that was so silky it was unreal. If anyone can remember who against I'd be impressed. It was a long passing move that was like a knife through butter.
Troy's goal against Leicester was the goal of any season I do remember the one you mean, it was about 27 passes and scored by "cant remember his name" or who it was against but Steve Claridge was forced to show the whole move by an avalanche of protests by Watford Fans, the move lasted longer than the highlights they showed of the whole game
