Arsenal fan Khalid struggled to hold back tears after the Gunners suffered a fourth consecutive defeat.
Speaking with Kelly Cates & Ian Wright on BBC 606, the emotional fan said: “I’m just heartbroken to be witnessing my team just capitulate and just fall apart the way they are.”
Choking back tears, he continued: “At the moment, I feel for Arsene Wenger. I think he’s been a great servant for the club, and it’s just sad. When I look at him, I just want to cry because it’s just sad to see his legacy almost fall apart.”
The pressure on manager Arsene Wenger continues to mount after the 2-1 defeat to Brighton left them 13 points adrift of fourth.

Poor Arsenal fan - my heart bleeds <monster>

There are fans all over the country who would like a small slice of what Arsenal have had in the past twenty years.
They are having a rough time and as a fan its disappointing but there are fans in this country who need to have a reality check.
No club is entitled to continuous success, you have to work hard and earn it. Suck it up when its your clubs turn to fail. Being close to tears on a radio programme is pathetic.

They are the ultimate club of ridicule on Twitter at the moment. They're a ****ing laughing stock. And it's not because of Arsenal on pitch, it's because all the fans are pissing their little knickers.

I have to say that I used to lose sleep over SAFC - never cried, but I used to lie awake at night and think "Why the hell can't we just get this or that right"

I've become numb to it now, which may be even sadder because those sleepless times were down to not being able to get to that level where we (as fans) deserve the club to be. Now that the club is being run close to bankruptcy/administration I'm numb to the hurt that it causes!

Arsenal fans are hilarious - sense of entitlement to run for the title. I never felt entitled to it, but I do feel that we deserve a little success, which isn't escaping relegation with a great run of games at the end of a season and a cup final! If we'd won the cup and gone down under Poyet I'd have been happier!

I remember a few years back a man Utd fan topped himself because his team were no longer winning every week. I'm sure it was in their Moyes season.

Glory hunters are attracted to clubs like Arsenal - people who live in Bristol and Cambridge etc who like their chosen team to win.

All they have ever known is success, so they can't deal with or understand failure.

That's why your team chooses you, and you deal with it warts and all

When I switched the tv on there were 9 minutes of the cup final left. With City 3 up arsenal were never going to win the cup - but it looked like all arsenal supporters had left. I know ours leave games but at least that’s culminated from long term disappointment , not a Wembley final.! In recent times it’s become the norm that the big team losers won’t even stay to see their team get their medals and say thanks for getting so far

Not sure if anyone noticed but I didn't see Wenger get off his arse into the technical area once, yet Pep, who's team was 3-0 up was bouncing around it in frustration at times.

When we played at Wembley we stayed and watched both teams go up the steps for their medals and for the cup - used to be the done thing out of respect but nobody gives a **** now!

My Dad went to the loo at full time and the steward advised him he wasn't allowed back into the arena to see the team as the team had lost so he should leave!! I mean ffs it's a cup final - not like it was just another SoL game where we'd been beaten

As for "big team losers" - City can't even fill their ground with the best football they've probably seen in their entire lives! Very very sad

You’re right- respect and sportsmanship gone with the attitude of the successful teams. As this is a showcase screened worldwide game , it looks awful to see 1/2 empty Wembley , the FA should keep the doors closed until after the presentations.

    Gelders,
We should keep the gates shut BEFORE matches at the SOL and save our supporters all the humiliation we've suffered in the past two seasons, unbelievable that you can count on two hands the number of times,we've won at Home and still have fingers to spare.
