Match facts Hull have lost just two of their last 17 home matches against Millwall in all competitions (W10 D5). The Lions haven't faced Hull at the KCOM Stadium since September 2012, when they lost a Championship match 4-1. Nigel Adkins won nine of his first 10 league matches (including play-offs) against Millwall, drawing the other - he has since lost his last two, both matches in the 2015-16 season with Sheffield United. Millwall striker Steve Morison has been involved in seven Championship goals in 2018 - only Robert Snodgrass (eight) and Ryan Sessegnon (10) have had a hand in more. Both teams have scored in 21 of Hull's Championship games this season - only Fulham's games (22) have seen this occur more often this season. The Lions are unbeaten in nine league games - only Fulham (13) are on a longer run in the Championship. please log in to view this image please log in to view this image Nigel Adkins is preparing for another big week on home soil as the fight for Championship survival continues. The Tigers host Norwich City at the KCOM Stadium on Saturday, but first up is a battle with Millwall on Tuesday night and having seen his side take four points from a similar home double-header at the end of February, Adkins wants recent good home form to continue. “It’s all about being ready for the next game and we have to concentrate on getting our performance right,” said Adkins. “We’ll need to be competitive in our nature because that is the type of game it is going to be against an in-form Millwall side. “They are very good at what they do. They get forward well and Neil Harris has done a great job there. With that in mind it’s about us stopping them getting the ball forward, but then when we have the ball we have to be good and creative with it. If we get our performance right then we have a chance to win the game of football. “The home crowd will have a part to play this week as always, too. We all want the best for the Club and we need all of the positive energy that they have to help drive the team on firstly against Millwall and then against Norwich.” Mcgregor Aina Dawson McDonald Clark Bowen Larsson Irvine Growshitski Keane Dicko City win 2-0
For some strange reason..... I’m feeling very positive about this game for the first time this season.... Stick £30 on us to lose lol..
How was / is Barcelona? EDIT just seen you’re back. Classic Barcelona to Millwall on a wet Tuesday culture clash
Yesterday for some reason I was thinking it was Tuesday already. I panicked when the match hasn't seemed to start and nobody was talking about it on here!
I'm surprised it's been up 10 hours already and no one has called you out on referring to us as "Hull" and made sarky comments about Rugby League. I mean I expect the BBC to do it in their half arsed match previews but I know you do your own in depth research......
Wonder if we'll see Abel on the bench? He wasn't in the U23's squad this week... Tonight could be a measure of who's got the bottle to stay up. Us, Burton and B'ham at home to 11th, 10th and 7th respectively.
Abel is expected to be on the bench tonight. Harry Wilson, Ondrej Mazuch, Markus Henriksen and Stephen Kingsley and Moses Odubajo are all in full training, though it looks like Moses won't be considered for the first team for a while yet.
Any word on Evandro? Seems to have gone silent on him since he picked up whatever injury it is he's got.
****ing hell. Took me over an hour to wade through the first post. Let’s hope Nige doesn’t over cook it as well tonight. Back to basics. Possession and 4 nowt to us.
