In Lovenkrand's defence he was played out of position all game. What was he doing in central midfield for the first half? Then right side of midfield for the 2nd half? Not his strongest positions by a long way.

Just finished at the top level for me. No point in shifting him on if we haven't signed someone though. I fully expect him to depart on deadline day if we have managed to get a striker in. I thank him for his efforts but his time is up for me. Saying that after having the displeasure of watching Demba Ba so far, maybe there is a role for him! I'm keeping my fingers crossed Ba is short of fitness!!!

Its Ba that needs to be moved on he was absolutely dreadful. Would have disgraced Sunday morning park football. What a waste of space

I said the same about Ba. Sholas first touch is much better, his positioning is and I dare say his finishing is too.

Ba just does not look like a good footballer at present but this Ramadan thing is a concern for me. I think the fans might get on his back soon because even if the quality is not there the workrate does not appear to be either.

I dont see Ba working with any of our current strikers either. However if we had Ben Arfa in the AM position then maybe this would make Ba work I dont know. We all know that when Ben Arfa is back he is gonna play so we wont be playing 2 CF anyhoo. But at present (I hate to say this) Shola is our best option!

This may seem crazy and too much too soon but I'd play Sammy and Vuckic up top. Vuckic loses possession a little too much to play midfield anyway (just youth), but he looks a proper talent. I just think those two would instantly offer more because of movement.

Ba needs more time, Ramadam finishes next week if I'm not mistaken, hopefully he'll pick up after that.

It makes sense because Tiote has been well below par. The worrying thing is with Ba, he is not only lethargic but looks to have a poor footballing brain. Patience I suppose but we can't carry him at present so he can't start.
