Morning WCD and all. I am inclined to agree. From what I saw on the telly there was the making of some good moves unfortunately I could not see what was going on off the ball, so could not asses why the moves did not come off. However when Felix let the first one in I can just imagine the players thoughts.(Oh f--- here we go again) The team need confidence, where they get it from I just don't know anymore.
PH said he would keep the team if they won and they did. Forshaw was out of the team because his Wife had just given birth. So this is a nothing story.
The worrying thing is that he picked O`Kane before the f`ing tea-lady. You could have put out a bag of **** and it would still be better than O`Kane. Janson is also starting to worry me, he is not playing well at the moment.
Morning all. Felix is the biggest problem in our team at the moment. No confidence sweeps through the team when starting at the back. Every member of the defences game suffers as they cannot be 100% focused on what they are doing, they have to be thinking what they need to cover up the shower behind them. This has a knock on effect to the midfield as everyone is playing a step further back either helping out the defence or expecting to have to. We now have 8 to 10 players who are not on their front foot due to the failings of one person. I'm not saying we don't have problems in defence or midfield anyway but it must be like plaing with one shoe lace undone, just enough to keep you off the best of your game.
No, they don't hate you, they love you. They've run out of re-runs of "I'm a Celebrity......" and want a cheap comedy to fill in.
The keeper is also a big factor in the difference in Jansons form. If he has no faith in felix is he going to throw himself into the heroic tackles he did last year. If he throws himself into a tackle and gets it wrong last year he would have had Green, who by the middle of the season was the top keeper in the league imo, to support him. Same reasoning applied to Bartley. Now it must be a constant fear that if he throws himself into something and it doesn't work out we concede and he shares the blame. What looked heroic last year looks reckless this year maybe
Plus he has Cooper as a partner this season. He wasnt good enough last season for a start except when we had injuries or suspensions
Nope, I’m interested because I’ve realised how wonderful it is to be a Leeds fan. It will be fascinating to see what PH does in response to the fck up v Boro. He said the previous good performance entitled people to keep their places(I don’t entirely agree with that, but.....) so I expect the converse now to be true. Chesh await the call- goalkeeping glory may yet be yours
Genuine question, is this irony? I am interested too, can just imagine the post match posts saying exactly what we have been saying since begining of the year and it's all starting to get a bit of a bore. If I am on the wrong thread I do apologise
Obviously our keeper is one problem, Anita is lightweight and although he's got a few goals I still think that German fella is just a lumbering pudding.
I am 2020 because no matter what results we have to endure I still look forward to watching us while drinking some ale........
no I was being serious, so it’s fake irony. What’s behind the comment - we all think we must get to the Prem (and so do I) but the Prem is not the Division One we used to rule. It’s the home of money based teams, mega money stars earning more in a week than senior managers in industry earn in a year, it’s adjacent to the dishonest twatishness that is FIFA, the World Cup is coming and the whole thing is a dishonest ****ty **** up of mega proportions. I ****ing hate it all with a passion, even though technically the Prem football can be superb I rarely watch it on tv - because there is no heart nor soul. And that’s what we want to join. Yes so do I but really, not at any price. I’ve told myself a proper football fan can enjoy what is happening, good and bad, in his club. For me, we have a squad that’s not good enough but it has some excellent players as well as some ****e ones (excellent as in good to watch, not good enough to play in the prem) I dont mind PH at the moment, it’s interesting at the moment seeing him work out how to get the best from this squad, given its weaknesses as well as strengths. Who will he boot up the arse? I enjoy watching Pablo, saiz, even Alioski, Forshaw, will Vieira come through as he is a genuine prospect? Will they play with guts or roll over? I can enjoy the crowd (though I prefer away games like Reading on Sat for that) etc etc - just focusing on the stuff that’s interesting That’s the idea anyway All I know is I’m looking forward to the Wolves game and that’s all that matters
Fair enough 20 I also don't mind PH at the moment after all he is having to play with the cards he has been dealt Just getting fed up of complaining which is not my style believe it or not, would love to heap praise on the team even if we do not win.
