watching a few things on the go. Hannibal season 3. Pretty weird season, i'm not sure i'm enjoying this too much anymore but since its the last one i might as well see it through. Will need to read up on it afterwards. Momentum - Firstly olga kurylenko is fit. Secondly i actually quite liked the first half of the film and thought it was quite exciting but then the 2nd half is so stupid and lacking as well as that ending. 5/10 This is us - The story, the scenarios, the characters theres nothing i don't like about this series so far (7 episodes in). Highly recommended 10/10
This Is Us S1 had promise and I quite enjoyed some of it but it turns quickly into absolute dross, typical American ****e TV.
lol seen. At what point does it start turning south. I was enjoying the unravelling of what happened between man and wife and also the dynamics between the family
I was watching it with Mrs luv and she was enjoying it but the themes start repeating and there's very little story as it moves on, it's predictable and boring as you move toward the end of S1. We never started 2. Hopefully you'll disagree and enjoy it seeing as you're into it.
So as I said I waited till ST Discovery was finished so I could watch the whole series together and as I've mentioned before I am a fan of Star Trek so... Its a 5/10 for me, worst series so far (even Enterprise was better) I can see massive gaping flaws with it. 1. Technology continuity, I get that thing are going to look better than the 1960 cardboard sets, but using things like Holo simulations (ie holodecks) when that is supposed to be a brand new technology introduced in TNG, there are even episodes about how new it is. Then there was the constant use of Holo communication which again was supposed to be brand brand new in DS9. Can't just shove things in because you like the look of them. The Klingons have the Cloak, isn't supposed to happen till much later, hence why you never see it in TOS. 2. The spore drive, what a pile of steam horseshit. Pure mumbo jumbo. Again this fails in continuity but mainly it just seems some far fetched idea the producers liked to set the series apart. 3. The Klingons, jesus where to start. Awful new redesign, makes them look like generic space monsters. Did we need to Klingon see tits? The character is all wrong, no longer are they Vikings in space or even followers of a code of honour. The Empire doesn't exist, just factions, when in Enterprise (the show this is supposed to follow) has already show it does and so does the High council. Wish they would leave the Klingons as they were. 4. The War, barely see any of it as the ship conveniently jumps forward in time to the end. The whole thing would have worked better if it had been set after Voyager and they hadn't used the Klingons as the main adversary. Also STD is a terrible abbreviation.
