Preston away Tuesday, personally I reckon they are a bogey team for us and always difficult to beat at home, in their last 6 games they have W2/D3/L1 compared to us W1/D3/L2, they are in 9th place to our 6th, their goal difference is +9 to our +12. Not a lot of difference but I think the result will be a home win - score 2-1. I hope City scalp them and we win,you never know.
We never do well against Preston for some reason and I can’t see anything but a Preston win I’m afraid. I know it’s all hoodoo but it seems to work!! I expect we’ll be winning 2-0 at half time and end up losing 3-2.
I see a draw in this one, maybe even a 0-0. Preston don't lose many. Not been all that happy a hunting ground recently for us.

Tough game , would be more than happy with a point. Having said that could go either way and could really do with not losing as we really need to build some momentum. COYR
Best of luck to those travelling the roadworks on the M6 between Stoke and Knutsford are such a treat, and when you see the signs which say "My Daddy works here please take care" after 20 miles of traffic jams you'll realise that it's about time he pulled his finger out and got them finished.

In isolation, a draw at Preston is a good result, but in the context of where we are and what we're fighting for, a draw is only so useful. To offset some of the bad results we've had, we need to win some toughies and this would be a great place to do it to prove Saturday wasn't a false dawn.
Deceptively difficult game this one. If we lose the usual haters will be out in force but in reality a draw is more than respectable. Even though a win would go extremely far in our current situation.
a draw is only of use if against a team that will, make ground on us and replace our position........ PNE is a good example whilst they cannot overhaul us on the night, they are then in a position of being on a par with who gets most points from the remaining 30. draws against Burton Ipswich and Barnsley are abject failures for our push for top 6 of all our remaining games just Brentford and Middsbro need to be a minimum of a draw...................... THERE ARE 12 OF THE TOP 14 VYING FOR A 4 TEAM PLAY OFF SPOT, AFTER TONIGHT WE WILL SEE A CLEARER PICTURE
Fulham v Sheff United and QPR v Derby tonight Points may be dropped all over the place, although I don't see Villa losing at Sunderland or Cardiff not beating Barnsley at home.
Preston have defender Darnell Fisher available for the visit of Bristol City after he completed a suspension. City will hope to have defenders Nathan Baker (groin) and Bailey Wright (knee) back after they missed Saturday's 4-0 home win over Sheffield Wednesday. Left-back Joe Bryan left the field early against the Owls with a head knock and will be assessed. Preston will start ninth in the Championship, three points behind City, who occupy the final play-off spot. Match facts Preston have won each of their last four league games against the Robins, although only one of those wins was at Deepdale - a 5-0 win in April 2017. Bristol City have won one of their last 10 league matches at Deepdale (D4 L5) - they won 4-0 in a Championship match in February 2011. Preston have conceded exactly one goal in 10 of their last 11 matches in all competitions, keeping a clean sheet in the other. Bobby Reid has scored five of the Robins' last six league goals, including a hat-trick in their last game against Sheffield Wednesday. Sean Maguire has been involved in five goals in his last four league matches for Preston (four goals, one assist). Lee Johnson has lost seven of his eight league matches against Preston as a manager, drawing the other - indeed, those seven defeats are more than against any other club during Johnson's Football League managerial career.
