Expense of offloading players

    I got to thinking about how big a job it may be to offload the unwanted players in the summer. They’ve all long contracts which is only a help if other clubs are willing to pay a transfer fee for them. I read last night that Luke Murphy is on 10k a week with us and another year left on contract. We’re likely still paying the lions share of that as Burton won’t have that cash. I really hope we don’t have to subsidize any more players next season on loan. It seems an awful drain on resources to me

    If we can’t sell some of these players I can see a merry-go-round of coaches trying to make what we have work. Alioski shows flashes of brilliance and I believe we have something in him, Saiz and Forshaw both a positive but the rest very questionable.
