unusual to hear the commentator have a dig (can't remember exact words but on the line of)
" difficult to watch the 5th place team come and play like this "

thete was one point 3 city palyed.knocked it about and silva got so bored he stopped and fabregas stood looking at him.

i was thinking.. this is not football as id have gone through him and taken.my yellow.

seriously it was poor. i get your point on hazard as the two supposed wide.men were put in a 4 man midfield in front of a back 5 so he couldnt do a thing to press

but... he was leading a line and could have got right up on the offside line and chased a few long balls to keep himself warm.

youve just lost 4th place bar a team collapsing mate.

5 points off spurs who just look the part and 6 of utd who have game in hand

7 off us and we have 7 games v lower half.

It was unforgivable for a team of their quality to play like that. I can't remember the last time I saw a game at this level where one team could just stand and pass the ball between them for what seemed like a minute at a time without anyone from the opposition even trying to break it up.
Maybe Conte had money on it. :bandit:

'I've still got Sky on now, they said Thierry Henry's left the studio; there's reports going around that he got in a helicopter and is flying down to London. I'll take anyone' <laugh><laugh><laugh>

There must have been fierce competition to see who could out-bore the other then.
I only saw about 30 minutes of that game.
Which is 30 minutes more than I wished I'd seen of today's.

Total knee-jerk reaction/appointment if they did, what qualis does he have for the job ?? Zero. It'd be like us giving it to Gerrard in the dying days of Rodgers or Hodgson which is the equivalent feeling I get of how it is there right now

Now I like Henry a lot as a pundit and a guy, and I'm sure he could make a great manager at some point, once he's got himself outta the tv studios for a good while

I also thought Arsenal were extremely lucky to end up with 11 on the pitch today. Kolasiniac should have had a second yellow for that shoulder barge. No intention of going for the ball, just trying to wipe the player out.

Arsenal need to announce that Wenger will leave at the end of the season, and bring in Ancelotti.

Who cares? If we're good enough then it's irrelevant. Stop hoping to be given something over wanting to achieve it ffs

The first part at the very least needs to be done before the month is up. Just treading water until the end of the season now.
Still not buying it, their defence and midfield is worse than we were left with Rodgers. Not to mention that Cech is looking well past it.
