You and I know this is a golden opportunity for you to cash in because the team have failed this year, it proves nothing about Rad other than his first attempt didn’t work.

I’ll give him another 18 months before nailing my colours to the “woe is me” mast if that’s ok, as should some of your flock.

Feck it gets tedious on here!

I would rather he didn’t have another attempt if he can’t afford to run. The club in a way that gives us any chance of progressing.

Sorry WJ, you have been a stout defender of weidwald (and I'm glad someone is), but your defence of him is all about his qualities as an outfield player not as a goalkeeper. IMO the whole malaise in the defence is because they simply do not trust him. He doesn't organise his defence, he is cowardly, or does not know when to leave his line (or both). It forces defenders out of position as they are desperate to stop the ball getting anywhere near him, and that is simply because they don't trust him. I've said before he spreads uncertainty through them all. Oh and it doesn't help that he couldn't catch syphilis in a cheap brothel.

It's that cold, I thought I'd check on my 80 year old near neighbour Mike, to see if he needed anything from the shop.

He said he did, so I gave him a list of things I needed as there's no point of us both going out in the snow and getting cold.

    Nope! You've misinterpreted me.

I am broadly saying that if Weidwald had did his job, we would still not have won. We lost due to a TEAM failure, not one player. They ALL failed. Including Weidwald.

I listed each of the goals. He takes some blame for the second. No doubt about that. But I explained the circumstances of each of the goals, and NOT ONE can be laid at the feet of Weidwald's communication issues, his command of the box, the lack of confidence in the defence due to him, or any other of his faults. So I stand by my factual analysis. Go on - rebut my analysis by giving an alternative version. I doubt you can, as I based it on what I watched, and offered no bias whatsoever. My disappointment, sadly, is universal.

I also refute you saying that I was talking about his outfield qualities. You missed the point completely on that one. Read it again. It's about the failure of the outfield players, and not one of them can be laid at Weidwald's door. The list indicates that they ALL failed to do their job - and sadly, Pontus made 2 fatal mistakes - more than Weidwald or anyone else, yet he remains untouchable. Why?

You've also failed to notice that I have rescinded my advocacy of Weidwald. As I explained elsewhere, his most special quality is redundant now, so there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that he has no future with us. Nor Lonners. And I have doubts about Double Barrel too, even as a #2. I wonder if our new Polish keeper might pick up the #2 spot.

Crikey, bittersweet. Congratulations on your new addition, but at the same time, so sorry to hear about your loss. The most terrible kind. Hope your new bundle goes a long way to making life good again, mate.
